An extremely rare pair of 18th century silver double-faced cufflinks set with old European cut colorless paste gemstones. The crystals are held in place in traditional cut-down settings typical of the period and the faces are joined with the quatrefoil connector almost always seen on this type of cufflink. This Mexican sterling bracelet has a warrior-like feel, with its shield-like openwork panels. The domed centers are set with small black glass cabochons that could be obsidian. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure, and the connectors between the panels exhibit are well soldered. The bracelet bears the unidentified mark of VGV (per Bille Hougart’s book), as well as a sterling mark surrounded by a circular Hecho en Mexico. It measures 7 inches long by a little over 1 inch wide...

Mounted in a round, beaded silver gilt setting, the amber cabochons in these cuff links exhibit with a vivid honey color and some cloudiness. The cuff links bear the Soviet marks for .875 silver, as well as the town mark for Riga and an unidentified maker’s mark accompanied by the mark for 1957. They are securely hinged at one end of the bridge bar. The button portions measure 5/8 inch in diameter.

This fine 3-piece set consists of cuff links and a tie bar / clasp. They are sterling silver. Each abacus has beads that actually move - are mechanical. They are 3 dimensional. The cuff links measure, 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/8". The tie bar is just under 2" long. Each piece is marked SILVER STERLING MADE IN HONG KONG. The set is circa 1970 and in excellent condition.

This sterling silver necklace of faces and fleur-de-lys has a European feel and is designed in the Renaissance Revival style most associated with Peruzzi. It does not bear a maker’s mark, but the spring-ring clasp is marked as sterling, and the various elements test definitively for silver. There is a roughness to the casting, but the lobed beads in between are nicely detailed. It has a twisted multi-link chain. The necklace measures a little over 16 inches long. Weight: 16.3 grams

Formed as a delicate spray of three flowers, this Coro sterling silver pin has an unusual design, unlike much of the company’s Sterling Craft line. The Sterling Craft pieces were hand-constructed, with an arts and crafts look; many had a Scandinavian influence, but this piece is quite naturalistic and more complex in construction. It measures about 3 ½ inches long by 2 inches wide by 1 inch deep. It has a secure rollover clasp. Weight: 18.6 grams

This unusual silver lariat necklace draws on its Nordic roots with a twisted, notched spike at each end in the Viking manner. It is quite a versatile design and a sophisticated look; the strands can be knotted or draped, worn long or doubled. The chain itself is composed of doubled links, each with two perpendicular rings. The chain has a yet-unidentified maker’s mark, with a Norwegian silver mark of 830S. From end to end, the necklace measures about 46 ¼ inches long, including the terminals...

This handsome, handmade Italian sterling silver bracelet by Peruzzi is composed of linked openwork oval and round frames holding applied flowers and leaves. The flowers look to have been hand constructed, petal-by-petal. The hook clasp and safety chain are very secure; the inside of the bracelet bears the Peruzzi and sterling marks. The surface is highly tarnished, despite an attempt at cleaning; it can be brightened up a bit more...

A very nice modernist silverplate over copper tie bar decorated with a design of coiled silver wire by studio jewelers Morley & Kim Crimi. This use of coiled wire is characteristic of the maker, who more frequently worked in copper than in silver. The back is marked “Morley-Crimi Hand Wrought”.

This handsome ring is a size 11 ½. The lapis stone is bezel set and measures just over 1” x just over 3/8”. It has a great design and is marked MEXICO TH-107 (or TM – 107) and 925. It has good heft and is great condition. It is circa 1970.

This lovely American sterling silver and enamel cross exhibits an elaborately scrolled edge and vibrant green enamel. The cross and chain date from at least c. 1915 but could be older. The chain is original and made of flattened, rectangular links; there is no clasp. It tests definitively for silver. The enamel decoration on the cross is intact, and bears the usual minor flaws of handwork...

This dramatic handmade sterling silver ring is entirely hollow-cast, for comfortable wear. It is entirely one piece, and displays a patina that indicates it is probably 20 to 30 years old. It is marked 925 underneath, with an unidentified maker’s mark that looks like an M. The slightly concave top measures 1 5/8 inches long by 1 ¼ inches wide by 3/16 inch or so deep. The ring size is just under a 6. Weight: 14.7 grams

A 14k 3 diamonds engagement ring circa 1960s. This classic size 3-3/4 or 3.75 yellow gold ring has a high set center diamond and two side diamonds. The diamonds consist of a central 19 point brilliant cut of SI-2 clarity and F colour, plus two round brilliant cut stones totalling .14 carat (SI-2-I1, G-H), with one having a chip. This ring weighs 2.1 grams, and it is in excellent vintage with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A 9k Victorian hair bracelet from 1860-70. This mid-Victorian 8-3/4 x 1/2" woven hair bracelet with 9k (unmarked but tested) yellow gold mounts has a safety chain and a box clasp; the gold mounts are connected with gold-filled round loops. This bracelet has a monogram, it weighs 9.2 grams in total, and it is in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small dent on the underside...
