Beautiful earrings in classic MATL style. By Matilde Poulat of Mexico City. Circa 1950. Marked MATL in script, 925, and MEXICO, and both earrings are marked with eagle 129, which is the correct number. The screwbacks, which are original, are marked ALPACA, which is of course a white metal alloy. With detailed baroque wirework, tiny turquoise cabochons with beautifully aged green color, and pyramidal amethysts. 1 1/2 inches long and just under 1 inch wide. Excellent condition...

Beautiful dimensional bracelet with repousse work in pre-Columbian style motifs. Circa 1940. Marked STERLING 925 TAXCO MEX and signed CP or OP. It weighs 51 grams. Fabulous vintage necklace with thirteen glowing "dragon's breath" glass cabochons simulating fire opals, in baroque, deeply worked settings. Marked STERLING, TAXCO, EMMA, and numbered 279. This is the mark of Emma Melendez of Taxco, active 1953-1971. Slide clasp. 16 inches wearable length and 7/8 inch wide. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. Vintage necklace with large openwork drops with incised decoration alternating with smaller drops with silver hemispheres. Circa 1935, with early pre-eagle marks. Marked E BARENA (the R, E, and N are obscured), TAXCO, MEX, and 925. This name is listed in "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks" by Bille Hougart. A handsome pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks worked in the Etruscan Revival style with applied bead rosettes. The spherical faces are attached by chains to baton backs, also decorated with applied bead rosettes. The gold surfaces have a slight matte finish. The cufflinks are hallmarked with the French “hibou” import mark.

Vintage 18K yellow gold dangle earrings with cabochon teardrop shaped emeralds. Emeralds are set in 18K yellow gold. 14K pierced French back closure (hallmarked 14K, see photo). Emeralds are 13mm (5/8 inch) long, just over 9 mm wide, 5mm deep. Total length of earrings including wire is 1 3/8 inch. Total weight is 3.4 grams. Emeralds can also be removed from the wire back and attached to earring posts as earring jackets (see photo). Excellent color.

Late Victorian peridot earrings set in 14K and white gold (hallmarked). French back for pierced ears. Roundcut natural peridot is 3/8 inch in diameter, surrounded by 8 rosecut diamonds set in white gold. Beautiful, stunning color. Total width of earrings is 5/8 inch. Total weight is 6.8 grams.

14K yellow gold eternity band set with round-cut rubies that are channel set going all the way around the ring. Width of ring is 3 mm. Weight is 3.3 grams. Size 6.75 Beautiful color. Excellent condition.

This whimsical fob is a sailor's hand-carved whale bone ivory fist, a common motif during the Victorian Period. The fob is comprised of a beautifully detailed hand with pointed index finger. The heart shaped base of the piece adds a touch of whimsy and romance. Possibly a 19th century Valentines Day gift? It is attached to an antique gold filled watch chain. Size: Fob-1 3/4". The watch chain with all of its'original findings is 7" long. Excellent condition.
