A fascinating 18K yellow gold cocktail ring featuring a "forma livre" (free-form) amethyst by the famed mid-century Brazilian designer Haroldo Burle Marx. Burle Marx invented the technique of carving and tumbling forma livre stones in 1948, and the style became his signature. The links and swivel are stamped 9ct and it ranges from 1/4" to 1/8" wide, but the t-bar is unmarked and is rolled gold plate. A fine pair of modernist sterling silver cufflinks featuring South Sea black pearls by Ted Lowy. The pearls have dark gray body color with very pronounced and desirable peacock overtones in rose, green and purple. The backs are marked “Sterling/Ted Lowy”. Lowy was active in South Orange, NJ during the 1960’s and 70’s. He is still living, now aged 93. He was not especially prolific and his pieces rarely come on the market...

This typically Colombian design pin/pendant is made of 18Kt yellow gold and centered by an approximately 4 X 2.5 millimeter emerald cut emerald. The pin measures 2 1/8” high and 1 1/8” wide at the widest part.

The impressive workmanship and fine quality of this pin have ensured that it stood the test of time. This Victorian beauty dates from the late 1800s and is still in great shape. The bottom of the sword itself is a little bent, but the scabbard covers it when worn so it isn’t visible. A Japanese Komai 3-5/8 x 1/2" scalloped-edge pin. This pin features inlaid silver, copper and gold on a black enamel ground in a gold plated setting; it has a Japanese mountain and village scene. It is stamped JAPAN K, it has a simple c-clasp and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This unusual bracelet is cleverly hand-built from cast circular elements, each riveted to the next. The rivets allow the circular pieces to move as on a hinge, and each is connected at an angle to accommodate a comfortable fit on the wrist. The box clasp is sturdy and secure, with a figure-eight safety catch. Although the circular elements are hollow, the bracelet has a good heft and has a Constructivist aesthetic. It is probably from the 1970s. The clasp is marked 925 for sterling silver...
