The entire clasped necklace measures 18 inches long; the pendant is 3 inches long by 2 3/8 inches wide.

Wrought in .900 silver which Matilde Poulat used in the early period of her career this stunning silver repousse brooch develops around a carved black onyx “mask”. Matl’s work is always impressive - no one could ever blame her creations for timidity - but it seems to me that the repoussage of her first years is even bolder...
A very fine French Belle Epoque 18K yellow gold brooch set with diamonds, blue sapphires and demantoid garnets around a central sugarloaf cabochon 3.59-carat peridot. The demantoids exhibit the desirable horsetail inclusions characteristic of Russian stones. The combination of blue sapphires and the bright grassy green of the demantoids and peridot is very pleasing. All the smaller stones are old mine cuts. Six small rose-cut diamonds are collet-set in silver...

An absolutely extraordinary pair of vintage sterling cuff bracelets by Frank Patania Sr. from his Thunderbird Shop in Santa Fe, NM. Impeccable, precise craftsmanship and design speak in these pieces. Large and important 14K modernist design butterfly ring by famed jeweler Alfred Karram, NYC, c.1970's. It is signed "KARRAM 14K" and is size 5 - 5 1/2, depending on which side you put the ring on. Can be sized by a good jeweler. Made of heavy gauge gold and weighs 1/2 troy oz. Quite large, the design measures 1 3/4"long, 7/8" wide, and is 5/8" high. The gold finish is both a shiny and a duller "sand" finish. Excellent condition and glorious. Important piece......$16 for insured US shipping.
Modernist enamel by Madeline Turner, c.1940's. Similar concept but quite different artistically then preceding Turner listing. Also unsigned, not mounted, convex, and measures 2" diameter. Excellent condition.....$10 for insured shipping.

A three dimensional 916 silver brooch in an Arts and Crafts design by Holger Lindstrom, (1937-1968), Helsinki Finland. Has a concave oxidized center and four pointed onyx bezel set cabochons. There are textured recessed areas around each stone for an interesting contrast.
This hand crafted brooch measures 1 5/8" in diameter and about 3/8" high.
Marked with HGL for the maker, 916H for the silver content, boat for Helsinki and L7 for 1964...
Impressive takes on a whole different meaning when the work of the Los Castillo taller is concerned - and the wide, exuberantly vibrant floral and foliate repousse bracelet I am presenting here proves the point. Continuing in the 1940s’ spirit that called for designs derived from nature in jewelry production, this piece is a celebration of everything verdant - organic in an unexpected way, full of movement, reaching for the sunlight, twisting and twirling with the wind...
An elegant pair of classic Edwardian double-sided cufflinks, the octagonal faces decorated with engine-turned engraving in the form of a spray of acanthus leaves against a stippled background. The faces are completed with an octagonal platinum border. The backs are marked “14K-Plat” and have the maker’s mark for Carter, Gough & Howe. The backs are also engraved with a period “RD” monogram.
This huge sterling silver ring has a great design. The stone is colorful, with a mixture of greens, blacks, browns and more. It is bezel-set in a Mexican or Native American type setting. The back is flat and measures 1 3/8" x 1 1/8". The stone protrudes 3/4". The ring is just over a size 5. The shank is marked 925. This ring has good heft, weighing 1/2 ounce and is in excellent condition.
Distinctly Egyptian Revival in its inspiration, the set of Mexican Deco dangle earrings at hand reminds me very much of elements in Margot de Taxco's "Cleopatra" parure; more specifically, the feathers of the "vulture crown" the pharaoh is wearing. More stylized in our case they are here involved in an elaborate knot forming sculptural dangles that hang off the sweetest repousse rosettes...
A fine and attractive Edwardian gold plated satin finish sash pin with a step-cut amber glass stone c1900-10.
