Early 1930's hand forged 980 sterling silver & copper cuff designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Heavy at 100 grams, this design is comprised of braided silver & copper bands framed by thick silver wire. The bracelet is 1 14" high. Interior measures 5 3/4" end to end with a 1 1/4" gap opening at the back. 1930's hallmarks read 980 WS TAXCO. Beautiful vintage condition and patina. A very nice 18K yellow gold Sputnik style ring by H Stern. The dome is bezel-set with round citrines, amethysts, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines, garnets and aquamarines. This design was created in the 1950s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from the mines of the jeweler’s native Brazil. An exceptional gilt filigree scarab bracelet marked on the box clasp LORAN SIM. The company was in production during the 50's-60's in Providence, RI. One link is attached to the filigree by a small thread.(It's very hard to discern, though one may want to have a jeweler resolder it.See photo with blue scarab.)Please refer to the carnelian scarab for internal cracks. The real stone scarabs measure 3/4" x 5/8"; the bracelet 7.5" x 1".

An ultramodern bow tie 925 sterling cuff bangle bracelet from the 1970s. This modernist bangle features a punched and ridged bow with a central dome and it measures 2-1/4 x 1-3/4" across the interior, 3/4" at the widest and the bow is 2-1/8 x 1-1/4". The bow is longer on one side than the other and you could certainly decorate it with beading or other items through the holes...

Amazing matched pair of statement size bracelets in silvertone metal with very large brilliant stones in fuschia and a green which has an edge of teal. Circa 1975. The stones are openbacked. A fabulous 14K yellow gold and platinum brooch by William Ruser commissioned to celebrate the astounding victory of the Pittsburgh Pirates over the New York Yankees in the 1960 World Series. The brooch is designed as one of Ruser's classic waif-like children, this time dressed in a pirate's costume. This long, continuous chain is made of white metal links that test very slightly for silver; it is probably European. It is constructed of multiple flat, rope-like loops that intersect to form four lobes. It hangs 36 inches from the neck, and can be worn in a variety of ways – knotted, doubled, tripled, or tied loosely around the neck like a lariat necklace. It measures 1/4 inch wide. A 20" strand of 6 mm. cultured pearls with a 14k yellow gold clasp. This necklace has 73 pearls with medium creamy white lustre; a few have very minor surface irregularities and one pearl has some minor peeling to the nacre. This strand is in excellent original condition with no cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

This great ring is sterling silver with a central, honey onyx stone. It measures 7/8" x 3/4" x 1/2". The band is flexible and marked TAXCO MEXICO 925 with SBA in the middle. It is also marked with the eagle assay mark 3, and STERLING. It is excellent condition.

This pale green carved jade pendant with 14Kt gold findings depicts a woman figure. The jade piece is drilled through from top to bottom and measures 2 5/8’ high and 5/8” at the widest.

Matching the highly geometric cuff bracelet that is also available in my store, this vintage Los Castillo Mexican silver modernist ring still cherishes the austere angularity of the Deco years. Set in channels defined by sterling wires, the saturated blues and greens of the azur-malachite inlay clearly mark it as belonging to the workshop's "mozaico Azteca" line...

This wonderfully dimensional brooch measures 2 1/2" x 1" x 1/2". It features long, textured, rope-twist curves on five levels. The beautiful, jade stone is bezel-set. The back is marked DANECRAFT, 1/20 - 12KT G.F. with the R in a circle (for registered trademark). This piece is in excellent condition.

A classic sporting bracelet featuring three reverse-carved Essex crystals depicting a fox and a pair of horses. The gold mountings are formed from snaffle bits, horseshoes, riding crops, saddle belts and stirrups. The Essex crystals are expertly carved and painted with fine depth. The reverse is stamped with 14K marks and the maker’s mark for Carter, Gough & Co.
