Rare and large sterling art nouveau woman-reading-book "Letter Clip" by Unger Brothers, 1904. One of the most beautiful and rare designs and function, this lush piece measures a generous 2 3/4" by 2 1/4". It is signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE" and is in PERFECT condition. There is an original waffled piece of silver inside the clip so that it protects the piece(see photo 3). This piece, known as a "LETTER CLIP" is shown in the Eden Sterling reprint of the 1904 Unger Bros. Catalog on pg. 118...

Very finely crafted repoussé and pierced silver gold washed medallion, depicting a laughing Immortal riding a Qilin, he carries a lingzhi stem in one hand a lotus pod in the other. Late Qing Dynasty circa 1890-1910. This was probably sewn onto a garment or hat likely a part of a wedding outfit- (6.5cm x 5.5 cm, 6 grams). This beautiful pair of scarab design cufflinks is marked for Unger Bros, a well-known turn-of-the-century American jewelry maker. Each beetle or scarab is 1/2" by 13/16". They are made of sterling silver. Circa 1900-1905.

An Art Nouveau sterling fronted sash brooch. This 3 x 2" brooch dates to around 1900. This pin is stamped STERLING TOP, it has the original c-clasp, and it weighs 14.1 grams. It is in excellent condition with no major dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than two shallow bends visible on the back. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

This intriguing (and slightly strange!) pair of pins is from the Art Nouveau era. They feature a woman’s face flanked by flowers, and her hair is greenish – just a little scary! We have been unable to determine what the metal is, so assume it’s not precious. They measure 1-1/4” x 1/2”. The pin stem assemblies are old, but they may be replacements. Circa 1900. Coral and turquoise beads and silver decorations are all strung on a long silver post, so they can pivot around. the silver filigree disc at the bottom is missing one small filigree wire element, and possibly there was one a small stone in the middle of the disc...pendant measures 3+ inches long
