These delicate sterling silver pendant earrings have scrolled frames supporting small teardrops. They are designed in the tradition of solje jewelry from Norway. Hand made sterling modernist sterling, amethyst, copper pin by Sam kramer, NYC, c.1950's. Hand hammered, this large round pin measures 2" in diameter and the pinwheel center design measures 1" in diameter. Pinwheel is raised above the round part(see photo #2) by an applied round silver piece. This is a very desirable Kramer technique. Amethyst has a copper bezel on the pinwheel. Signed "STERLING mushroom mark(for Kramer)" and is in excellent condition...

A 19thC hand-carved shell cameo in a gold filled pendant/pin setting. This 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" brooch features the Eros and Psyche scenic cameo, and the pin has a flip-up loop and safety catch. The cameo dates to c1900 and the setting appears to be a bit later (c1920). This item is in excellent condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than an internal flaw in the shell at the top (doesn't show through the back of the cameo)...

A rare pair of 18K yellow gold earclips in the Sputnik style by H Stern. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, green and pink tourmalines, and garnets. This design was created in the 1950s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from the mines of Stern's native Brazil. It later came to be called "Sputnik" for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

Dating to the late 1930's, from his first design period, this William Spratling ring features a large amethyst cabochon flanked on each side by five silver beads.

This is a rare Margot de Taxco Mexican Silver Necklace.. The necklace is truly a treasure. The necklace dimensions entail: a 61.5 gram weight, 15.5 inches long, and a 6 inch inside diameter. The earrings just sold. I do have another pair of fish earrings that will list shortly. Thank you.

A sterling silver modernist brooch by Helen Scheier Adelman, (1909-1999), American Mid Century jeweler. This brooch depicts two antelope in thick polished sterling with a darker bumpy surface enamel background.

Measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/8" at the widest. Signed Adelman and Sterling on the back. Nice contrast between the darkened rough and shiny layers. Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches.

A nice 1950's 14K yellow gold tie bar set with rectangular step-cut synthetic rubies. The tie bar is quite short, dating it to the mid-century period when ties were very narrow. Narrow ties are once again in fashion, so this is still the perfect gentleman's accessory. Marked "14K".

Early vintage drop pendant necklace in 14KT yellow gold with carved apple jade beads, a carved jade medallion in apple jade with hints of spinach, and a center drop in carved pierced apple jade. The carved motifs are Chinese in form. 1920s or 1930s. Marked 14K on the clasp and tests positive for 14KT gold. It weighs 9 grams. From a Baltimore estate. I also have a jade and gold bracelet listed from the same estate.

A handsome pair of vintage 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the square faces in a basketweave pattern. Each open square is filled with a prong-set brilliant round cut blue sapphire. The sapphires are a medium-blue color with eye-clean clarity. The stones are nicely cut for maximum light return and have excellent brilliance as a result. The exposed gold surfaces have a finely engraved Florentine finish. The hinged backs are marked “14K”.

Circa 1940-1945, this masterpiece from Los Castillo pulls out all the stops. The craftsmanship is magnificent, the design sublime. The prong set faceted stones are almost black in color, with brown striations which can be seen from the back of the stones. The design is full of swirls and tiny beading. Centerpiece has six dangles and measures 5 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" tall. Closed, wearable length is 17". Weight is 112.7 grams. Signed and hallmarked with linear marks "Los Castillo Sterling Mex...
