A very fine lapis plaque (Afghan quality) with beautiful even violetish-blue color set in a 14K gold mounting. The stone is held in place by gold scrolls reminiscent of cresting waves. The same design follows down the side of the shank. Afghan lapis has no eye-visible white calcite spots, but may have some sparkly pyrite, and is the highest quality level. The interior of the shank is stamped “14K China” and has an unknown maker’s mark...

A stylish 16” long 14Kt white gold and pave diamond heart necklace. The heart that slides on the chain measures 7/16” X 7/16” and the heart shaped center is pave set with 15 full cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.20Ct.

A heavy, handsome pair of 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks set with rubies by David Webb. The box-shaped front faces are each set with nine round brilliant-cut rubies. The gemstones have vivid pure red coloring and are unheated. The exposed areas of gold are finished with a hammered motif. The smaller, hinged back faces are hammered and are without gemstones. The connectors are marked "Webb 18K" and have French import marks.

I acquired this Georg Jensen silver repousse bracelet years ago but waited for a long time to present it in the store - I was tempted to keep it and would have done so but for its length. This is Jensen’s des. no 3 and when it came to me it was accompanied by its matching necklace (sold earlier this month). A closer study of the hallmarks, however, indicates that the bracelet is earlier than its companion, pre-1945, in fact, if I am not mistaken...

This cool ring is a size 8. It has a great design. The is 1/2" wide. It is marked J & SS, has the Lion Passant mark indicating silver, the town mark indicating London and the cursive, uppercase D mark indicating 1978. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

An abstract sterling silver brooch by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig. May be a stylized leaf or feather. Measures 2" long and 1" at the widest. Signed on the back Steig Sterling. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. There is an area along the darkened edge that is textured, not sure if that is original or wear. Nice contrast of polished and darkened sterling. Interesting three dimensional feel.

Superb Mikimoto 18K yellow gold and pearl brooch in the shape of a cello. The cello’s body is set with 25 fine AA pearls graduating from 3.8 to 5.2 millimeters, and the tailpiece is studded with three round brilliant-cut diamonds. The f-holes, fingerboard, pegs and scroll are worked in gold and are beautifully detailed. The pearls are of exceptional quality with light cream body color and rosé overtones. The luster is very bright and the pearls are well matched...

A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by Antonio Pineda, Taxco with dangling hoops.

Measure 1/2" at the widest and 2" high. One earring is marked with the Antonio crown, 970 and an Eagle mark. The second earring is marked Hecho en Mexico. Clips hold securely. These earrings have some dings to the edges, surface scratches and some tarnish.

A pair of 1960’s high fashion, very elegant, tailored pair of twisted knot earrings made of 14Kt yellow gold. The earrings have French backs (none pierced), that can be converted to pierced if necessary. The diameter of the earrings is 15/16”.

A late Victorian 14K rose gold 1" x 5/8" chatelaine pin c1900. This pin weighs 3.9 grams and it is stamped 14K on the pin which closes with a c-clasp; it would have been used to suspend a pendant or watch. This item is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use...

Renoir of California had an affinity for primitive art, and the design of this bracelet is a good example of that inspiration. Part of the company’s Matisse line of enameled jewelry, this bracelet features oblong copper panels of two lengths decorated with blue enamel with white specks. The fold-over clasp is marked ‘Matisse’ on the top. There are some minor edge chips in the enamel on the back. It measures about 7 inches long by 1 1/4 inches at its widest point.

A lovely late Victorian 14K yellow gold locket, the front decorated with a coiled snake with a diamond-set head. The serpent’s head and tail are twisted together forming a circle that, in Victorian symbology, represented the eternal nature of love. The snake’s body is very nicely detailed and the 5-point old mine cut diamond has bright color and good clarity. The locket’s smooth surfaces have a slightly matte “Russian” finish that contrasts nicely with the details of the snake...

An attractive Eastern or Indonesian sterling silver 18" necklace with 5 fringed 1-1/2" triangular drops c1920-30. This unsigned necklace tests as high grade silver (.800 grade silver or higher, mark obscured), it weighs 24.1 grams, it has 1/4" loop-linked segments and a slightly more recent silver plated spring-ring catch, the triangular drops have beaded flower-like designs and twisted-wire dangly fringe; it is at least 65 years old and may be older...

These great clip back earrings measure 1" x 1". They are in gold tone with a textured design. The clip backs aka ear clips are marked bergere. They are circa 1960's and are in excellent condition. They also have good heft.

A pretty 18K yellow gold pendant in a shape that suggests a pair of wings, each set with rose cut diamonds. The design is completed with an additional diamond at the top in a buttercup setting. The pendant was likely fashioned from a larger piece of jewelry that was no longer fashionable. The reverse is stamped with a goldsmith’s mark and also with the Birmingham date mark for 1849...

A nice vintage 18K yellow gold spherical charm studded with red cabochons (possibly stained red chalcedony). The gold surfaces are nicely decorated with bright-cut engraving that simulates the beading of classic Etruscan pieces. Large charms of this sort were very popular during the 1950s and 60s. Marked with Italian 18K gold hallmarks.
