These stunning Antonio Pineda Amethyst Earrings have a Modernist style with a elongated tapered tube of silver with a cone shaped amethyst stone set to dangle at the bottom. They measure 3" long and together they weigh 26.6 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Crown on one and the eagle 17 on the other (marks are a bit faint and impossible to get a good picture). The screw backs function well and there is only light wear and tarnish, no damage noted. Chic and elegant with timeless style.

A stunning vintage Mexican bracelet in sterling silver in the classic Fred Davis Chevron design. Featured in Mexican Silver, by Morrill and Berk on page 27. Measures approximately 7 7/8 " long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. The craftsmanship and construction on this bracelet point to Fred Davis' work. Pre Eagle, (1948). Looks great on!

This gold filled Victorian hinged bangle bracelet is in excellent condition. It is 1" wide. The opening of the bracelet is 2 5/8" x 2 5/16". There are no marks on this bracelet to identify the maker. The clasp work fine.

A beautiful set of 6 Art Nouveau studs or buttons, each with a bas relief image of a woman playing a lyre. They bear the hallmarks for Birmingham sterling silver, 1907, and the maker's initials, "R & W". Accompanying the buttons are the sterling silver cross pins that go through the rear loop. All these are housed in the original leather case with velvet lining.

The buttons are 5/8" in diameter, and in excellent condition. There is one cross pin missing...

This is a wonderful brooch in sterling measuring 1 1/2 x 1 1/4" x 1/8". Characteristic of Clam pin with dark pearl in the middle. It has been said George W. Shiebler naturalistic motifs such as insects, animals, leaves and flowers. Scarce on the market and very collectible.

A quality 14k rhodolite garnet and enamel stickpin circa 1860. This large, heavy and superb 19th century stickpin is in 14k yellow gold, with a 40 point purplish pink rhodolite garnet and enamelling. The garnet is claw-set in an incised star and surrounded by an enamelled six-pointed star in cobalt enamel (more purple than in our photographs). The twisted-shaft pin measures 2-3/4" long and the head of this stickpin measures 5/8" across...

A 12 X 10 millimeter synthetic ruby is set in a 14Kt yellow gold fancy basket setting. The ring is a size 6 ½ and can easily be sized.

A 10k yellow gold man's jadeite cabochon ring probably from the 1960s. This size 9-1/2 ring features an oval cabochon green jadeite stone in a stepped 5/8 x 5/8" setting. It is stamped 10K, it weighs 5.8 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

We have a unique design of heavy repousse touched off with amethyst. No dents or damage and fits most with a 2.5in. diameter. The height is 1.75 making this a noticeable piece on the wrist. Marked Mexico Silver and weighs 64 grams.

From the Futuristic Hans Hansen line(1932-1948), a pair of solid sterling dangle earrings by Karl Gustav Hansen. They have been retrofitted for pierced ears and hang 2.75" with a combined weight of 10.9gr.

Stunning Taxco modernist sterling silver pendant necklace this set seems to borrow stylistically from both Antonio Pineda (in its use of the black velvet cord) and the Los Ballesteros workshops (in featuring that huge gemstone). The signature it bears, however, attributes it to a listed yet still unidentified Mexican maestro whose work I have had before but about whom we don't really know that much...
