Margot de Taxco loved combination pin / pendant necklaces and she designed them so that you could take the brooch away and still link the two lengths of chain and wear them alone as an elegant choker. I suspect that many pieces were comprised of inter-changeable elements so if you had this set and a different pin/pendant out of her “hand-hammered” line, for example, you could theoretically attach to this chain and enjoy that second brooch as a necklace too...

Luminous vintage glass beaded necklace in pale blue transparent glass beads clustered in groups, with large and small silvertone metal hollow beads, and melon shaped blue glass beads at the ends, with small silvertone spacers. Circa 1965. This piece is French; the shapes of the poured glass beads and the wired clustered construction are distinctively French. This sterling silver necklace is composed of curved panels with recessed areas that divide each panel into three sections. The middle section remains silver; the outer sections have a copper and brass plating. The necklace is nicely made, with soldered links and a secure tongue–and-groove clasp. This 1920’s period 14Kt two-tone openwork design broach is centered by an approximately 0.15Ct great quality sparkling old-mine bezel set diamond. The diamond is flanked on either side by a 2 MM seed pearl. The length of the pin is 1 ½” and the width is 7/16”.

A Scottish sterling silver Celtic penannular cloak pin fully hallmarked for Glasgow 1960. This 1-1/2" pin has a 1-15/16" moving spike for fastening a cloak, and it has the maker`s mark for Robert Allison with a 1960 year stamp. A typically complex and attractive mid-Victorian 1-3/4 x 1-1/4" rolled gold plate pin c1860s. This pin features seed pearls, applied black enamel and a layered design. It has a c-clasp, and it has a hook for wear as a pendant, for suspension of a watch or from a chatelaine. It is unsigned, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a few tiny misses to the enamel...

Here is a lovely antique ring in unmarked but tested 18kt rose gold. The center stone is a ruby cut in an old style, but in really excellent condition. (It’s possible that it’s a replacement stone.) It is surrounded by 8 rose cut and more randomly-cut diamonds which are definitely original, and which might be foiled, but in any case are in a closed-back setting. Typically for the period, a couple of them are chipped or have feathers (inclusions). The ring is a size 8-1/4, and could be sized...

A large 18K yellow gold Sputnik ring by H Stern. The dome is bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

This brooch features a 1" x 3/4" silver-mounted amber pin joined by a second patterned silver pin by three fine link chains with natural polished amber stones. Each pin has a c-clasp, it extends to 7-1/4" between the pins and it hangs 6-1/4" deep...

A very nice Victorian 18K yellow gold watch fob seal in the form of a seated hound dog. He (it's very obviously a male dog) is extremely well-detailed and is highlighted with a black enameled collar and cabochon ruby eyes. The carnelian seal was never engraved. This fob seal is a little larger than most and has an imposing presence. The fob is stamped with French 18K gold marks.

This is an authentic Art Nouveau 14Kt yellow gold amethyst and oriental pearl pendant. The pendant is set with a 3 millimeter faceted amethyst in the center and further decorated by 7 oriental pearls. The 1 ¾” high and ¾” wide pendant is on an 18” 14Kt yellow gold chain.

This William Spratling Mexican Silver Bracelet is from his first design period 1931-1946 and consider one of his most iconic designs. It measures 7 1/4" long by 1" wide and weighs 70.6 grams of sterling silver. Hallmarked with the WS mono, Spratling Made in Mexico, and Spratling Silver. It is in good vintage condition with some light wear, tarnish, and has developed a lovely patina. Early style pin closure and attached safety chain. A great vintage bracelet for any collector.
