A vintage sterling silver and enamel brooch by Margot de Taxco, (Margot Van Voorhies Carr). Blue confetti enamel in her classic swirl design #5384.

The brooch measures 1 1/2" high and almost 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling, Margot de Taxco and 5384. Also marked with Eagle #16.

The clasp holds securely. In very fine condition with only minor tarnish. The enameling is vibrant.

Estate fresh.

This unusual sterling silver necklace is constructed of sections 1/8-inch wire in a wavy pattern similar to figure eights laid end to end. Each section is linked by flattened, securely soldered bands; it is a nice, substantial piece. The necklace is marked sterling on the band attached to the jump ring, as well as on the spring ring. It measures 17 inches long by 3/8 inch wide. Weight: 53.7 grams

You can nearly hear this glowering lion roaring. Decorated in spectacular translucent enamels, the lion’s eyes are studded with old European cut diamonds and the mouth grasps an old mine cut diamond. The diamonds are graded as H/VS1. The brooch is deeply three-dimensional, with a lot of detailing in the mane. The back of the pin retains the original pinstem and a watch hook. The hook would have been used to suspend a pocket watch but could now be used to suspect a gemstone drop...

From the same Florida estate as the Danish malachite pendant, this is a another expertly hand crafted signed Danish sterling pendant with a wonderful orbital rutilated quartz. It measures 1 5/8" long and 1" wide. It is in fine original condition and could be worn on a chain or thin neck ring. Signed IU 925S and Handmade in Denmark. The stone is fascinating and perfect for this solid setting.

A substantial sterling silver necklace with interlocking block links alternating with molded cuboid elements. The cuboids or rectangular blocks bear impressed, oxidized linear patterns on all sides, giving the piece a sense of depth. It is secured with a lobster clasp that is marked 925 for sterling silver, and the necklace also tests definitively for sterling. Unclasped, the chain measures 30 in. long. Weight: 64 grams

A classic pair of heavy 18K yellow gold earrings by Gucci. The earrings are in a triangular shape with gently rounded corners and are worked in an open basketweave pattern. The design incorporates both matte and polished surfaces to create a greater sense of depth. The earrings retain their original Omega clips, but the posts could easily be removed for wear as earclips. Each earring is marked 18K and is signed “Gucci”.

Circa mid-century, this quatrefoil pendant necklace is the work of "JVL". This master silversmith produced work for Antonio Pineda. I have had this exact design cosigned with both "JVL" and the Antonio Pineda crown hallmark. This necklace is not stamped with the Antonio crown hallmark, but the quality and craftsmanship are identical to the Antonio. A 14k white gold signet ring probably from the 1950s. This (slightly over) size 8-1/2 ring has an AL script monogram and it weighs 3.3 grams. It is unmarked and it may have been rehooped, losing the hallmark. It tests as 14k gold, the initial area is 3/8 x 1/4" and it is in excellent condition with dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a light patina from use.
