Designed by Frederick Davis in 1940's, this bracelet measures 1 3/4 inches wide X 6 7/8 inches long. The earrings are 1 3/4" long X 3/4" wide. All in beautiful condition. FD hallmarks on reverse. A very uniquely shaped broach/pendant is this 14Kt white gold filigree shell cameo from the 1920-s depicting the silhouette of a young lady. Art nouveau elements are incorporated in the designs of the cameo carving as well as the shape of the broach resembling a flower basket. The 1 7/8” wide and 1 3/8” high broach has a fold down bail that makes it wearable as a pendant.

Circa mid-century, these earrings are a rare find. Produced by Margot de Taxco, these are a book-piece design shown on page 34 of Margot Van Voorhies : The Art of Mexican Enamelwork. Both earrings and original design drawing are shown.

Referred to as "Egyptian Scroll", the colors are bright and vibrant. Gold, black, and green enamel.

A pretty 14K yellow gold brooch designed as a cluster of leaves, each accented with a collet-set round ruby. The leaf surfaces have stippled and Florentine finishes for nice contrast. The back is marked “14K” and also has an illegible maker’s mark.

It's very rare to come across any jewelry by the famous Hubert Harmon making these fanciful and unique Earrings or Ear Cuffs a real treasure. A Georgian 14k glass emerald and diamonds ring circa 1780-1800. This antique yellow gold (unmarked but tested and guaranteed) ring features a 3/8" across top which has claw set early silver coloured genuine rose cut diamonds surrounding an emerald coloured glass stone. Emeralds then were a scarce and difficult stone to acquire, so the use of a cut glass "gem" with diamonds was not unusual...

An exquisite mid-century modern 18K gold and diamond necklace by André Vassort for the Parisian jeweler O. J. Perrin. The necklace comprises 47 butterfly-shaped graduated links, each separately hinged so they lie perfectly flat around the neck. The links are worked in the heavily textured style favored by Vassort. The center 21 links are each studded with a diamond so delicately set that it appears to float over its link. The diamonds are graded as E color and VVS1 clarity...

How often does one find a ring by renowned Taxco modernist Enrique Ledesma? Let me answer my question - almost never! Over the years of my buying, selling and researching vintage Mexican silver jewelry, I have come upon a few examples, almost all of them adorned with a color-change sapphire. I had never seen a ring in the design I am presenting here until I discovered this one some time ago...

A handsome and heavy pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the classic baton style. The surfaces are decorated with a fine stippled pattern lending a dark patina similar to higher-karat gold. The backs are plain beveled rectangles. The connectors are marked "18K S.&F.".

This brooch was made by W. A. P. Watson in Solihul, England using the trade name of Exquisite (Hallmarked) from about the late 1940s to the 1970s. This cornflower brooch is 2 3/4" x 2 1/4" ( 5.5CM x 4.4CM). The brooches come in two sizes: 6-7cm x 4-5 cm)

These vintage 1-1/8" x 9/16" circle and plume design earrings have genuine bezel-set facetted amethyst stones in a circular mount with three Prince of Wales style feathers at the top; they are marked with a B in a diamond maker's mark with a 14K stamp...

An interesting silver pendant depicting the solar system and the attributes of the sign Leo—a lion and a depiction of the sun representing the heavenly body that rules those born into Leo. The pendant is signed “AC” and is stamped with French silver hallmarks.

Sterling repousee bracelet by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1947. This is part of a two piece necklace/bracelet set, each offered separately. Fit for a museum, this rare and wonderful Egyptian Revival pin has a portrait painted on porcelain. It is mounted in 800 silver and surrounded by 16 coral beads on wire. There have been some repairs [not visible from the front] as is so common in jewelry repaired in the 19th century. 1 1/4" diameter. Circa 1875.
