A great looking Mexican sterling silver Metales Casados pin c1950s-60s. This anamorphic 2-1/4" X 1 3/4" pin has a black resin stylized bird on a silver, copper and brass ground; the silver backing to the black resin is stamped HECHO EN MEXICO 925 and it has a safety catch. It weighs 15.9 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A charming design, nicely molded and enhanced with oxidation, this owl pin is small but substantial. The eyes are composed of turquoise enamel. The rollover clasp is very secure. A set of six matching hand-carved unset shell cameos depicting a woman, perfect for a bracelet or necklace. They measure on average 5/16" x 7/16" and they dates to the 1930s. A grotesque mask dangles from this silver key ring, suspended by a short piece of sturdy cable chain. The mask and chain are likely Mexican, evoking a grimacing face with bared teeth and hanging tongue similar to various masks of the ancient Americas. It is constructed of several elements, such as a headpiece, tongue and overhanging lip, soldered onto the the flat face; eyes and nose are incised. The key ring displays some wear commensurate with use as well as indecipherable markings...

Here is a substantial 1970s handmade ring composed of a hammered disc mounted on a thick band. It is marked 925; there is no maker’s mark. The disc measures 1 inch in diameter; the ring size is about 8 1/4; the band is adjustable.

Here is a sterling silver pin formed as stylized flowers and stems, set with teardrop-shaped pieces of obsidian. The partial marks are from a silversmith unidentified but known for the initials AE inside a heart-shaped M. It is a substantial piece, with the prong-set pieces of obsidian riveted to the oval backs. It has a secure safety clasp. The pin measures about 2 1/2 inches at its widest point, and 3 inches at its longest.

This colorful midcentury pin features a piece of enamel glass set in a frame of sterling silver. The enamel features a central design of three lavender amorphous forms outlined in silver wire, as with cloisonné, on a mottle blue and green background. The back of the pin bears a mark for sterling, as well as the maker’s mark of Holbrow.(This could be the mark of Florence G. Holbrow, of South Lincoln, MA...

A dazzling cherry red and sparkling white crystal and paste Art Deco coat or dress clip c1920. The beautiful quality brilliant cherry red unfoiled cut glass stones and the centre white round antique cut rhinestone are riveted (they spin) onto the delicate brass filigree back. The colour is deeper and more sparkling than they appear in our unfortunate pictures... There is a a two spike coat clip behind this, and it measures 1 13/16" across...

This sterling silver bangle bracelet has a diameter of 2 1/2". The "face" is 1/4" wide. It has a geometric, diagonal, overlapping, design with wonderful oxidation (see pictures). It is marked STERLING and has good heft. It is in excellent condition.

This great old Jerusalem Cross can be worn a a pendant or a charm. It measures 3/4" x 7/8". The back is marked 980 for its silver content. The Jerusalem Cross is also known as the "five-fold Cross" and "cross-and-crosslets." The cross has been used in early heraldry. It is also a symbol of faith, among other things.

This sterling silver ring is a size 7 1/2". It has a nice mod design with its intersecting, bi level sodalite, bezel-set stones. It is marked JR? 925 and STERLING. The band is marked with the Eagle Assay mark for Taxco Mexico. It is in great condition and has a good heft.

This ring features spore-like protrusions and was made most likely in the 1960s or 1970s. It is a very small size, a 3 ¾, and shows minimal signs of having been re-sized, including what looks like a partial mark for silver (it tests for sterling). This great biomorphic brooch / pin measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" by 1/2". Its modernist design displays a wonderful, Scandinavian motif. It is marked DANECRAFT STERLING. It is in great condition. circa 1950's

Brooch in the style of Pal Kepenyes, bronze and black enamel. Kepenyes, a sculptor of Hungarian origin, moved to Mexico in the 1960’s. His jewelry is in the rough or “brutalist” style of the time. Unreadable signature near the pin needle. Width "1 ¾ / 4.6 cm. Condition: fine.

Made of gilded sterling silver, this lovely pin features intricately applied bands to imitate wirework in a scroll design. The pin is set with a pink coral-colored glass cabochon that exhibits minor wear at the very top. It has a very secure C-clasp and is marked sterling on the back. It is conservatively dated to around 1960 (could be earlier), and is possibly Asian. It measures 1 1/8 inches across.

Add a touch of class to any sleeve with this pair of vintage gold plated damascene toggle back cuff links. Damascene was an process of inlaying metal objects with 22K gold or silver decoration. These dome shaped cuff links were made in Japan, circa 1950 featuring a mythical Imperial phoenix bird surrounded by flora and fauna, unmarked, swivel toggle back. Size: 7/8" diameter. Very good vintage condition with wear to the dome.

This copper bracelet features a double row of linked leaves attached at each end by copper-plated openwork panels, and connected by round copper-plated links. The surface is highly patinated, with only very minimal wear to the plating on the ends. The fold-over clasp is very secure; there is no mark. These earrings are small but have a strong design that evokes arts and crafts style. They feature applied silver leaves and beading on domes with an oxidized, darkened surface. There is a central copper bead mounted in a silver bezel. The earrings are marked 925 on the backs with sturdy posts; they may have been converted from screw backs at one time. Each earring measures approximately 1/2 inch in diameter and 3/16 inch in height. Weight: 1.9 grams total.

Here is a hand-constructed cuff bracelet made of multiple wires that are joined at the terminals and kept in place by horizontal rings. The wires look to be silverplated; the rings and soldered terminals are white metal. The cuff has a good heft (56 grams) and an impressive look. It is also well balanced, so doesn't turn on the wrist. It measures a little over 1 inch wide and 5/8 inch high with an inner circumference of about 7 ¼ inches.
