This cute, sterling silver pin / brooch is a Mexican cat character. He is wearing a bowtie and has abalone (like, fur) belly. It measures 1 1/4" x 1/2" The back is marked with the #3 Assay Mark. It is also marked TAXCO MEXICO, in a circle, with JRC .in the middle. It is in excellent condition.

A handsome pair of vintage 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks by Larter. The square faces have slightly rounded edges and feature almandite garnet cabochons. The garnets have strong red coloring without too much of the brown overtones that can make garnets dark. The connectors are marked with Larter’s hallmark and “14K”.

Featured on page 28 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by penny Morrill, this is the Hector Aguilar Fertility Bracelet with Dimpled Dots. It is in 940 silver and c.1940. One of his most well known designs, this bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 102 grams. It has a pin closure. One of the dots in one of the domes is punched out. It is visible in the photo. I believe this is original to the making of the bracelet.Signed for Hector Aguilar as shown. A classic HA bracelet.

This smart bar pin features loops on either side of an oval cabochon chrysoprase. It has a nice heft, and the stone is securely bezel-mounted. The back shows a sterling mark, as well as an unidentified maker’s mark of T&B or K&B. The rollover clasp is in good working order, and the stone is very slightly scratched. A well-constructed lapel or shoulder pin of clean, simple design, it measures 2 1/4 inches long by just under 1 inch wide at the center.

A superb 19th century French figural fob seal worked in silver and 18K gold. A classic pearl and diamond ring by Mikimoto. A single 8.4 millimeter pearl is set at the center of the ring and is surrounded by small round brilliant-cut diamonds. The pearl is of very fine quality, estimated at AA. The body color is cream with rose overtones. The surface is smooth and lustrous. The diamonds are of equally fine quality. Typically, Mikimoto uses diamonds in the F-G color range with VVS clarity. The shank is stamped with Mikimoto’s oyster shell hallmark and “K18”.
