A heavy pair of 14K gold cufflinks, the faces decorated with a sort of shield-shaped device against a stippled background. The influence of the Art Nouveau aesthetic can be seen in the assymetrical design of the shields. The semi-matte finish of the stippling contrasts nicely with the more polished shield. A very rare 14K yellow gold and enamel pin in the form of an oyster shell complete with a small pearl. The enamel is beautifully worked in shades of greenish- and silvery-grey. Fred Davis was often daring with his designs using size for the jewels presence. This one is 2 1/8th inches tall and a depth of .25 inches. The length is 9 inches but has a wearable of 6.5 inches. The stones are without damage and set into their rows like peas in a pod. There are no dents to the saucer shaped beads. Circa 1930's-early 40's, this necklace is a Fred Davis design, hallmarked simply "Silver Mexico".

It's a gorgeous piece, with large amethyst cabochons and carved malachite stones. It lays perfectly on the neck, measuring a closed, wearable length of 16 1/2". Width is 1 1/16". Amethysts measure 27mm x 20mm, with a depth of 11mm.

Weight is 87.6 grams.

This whimsical midcentury sterling silver bracelet features large, novelty charms on a thick chain, all marked Mexico; it was probably made for the tourist trade.
