Fabulous, large, hand made Picasso-esque double profile face ring by Joseph Gourdji, NYC, c.1970's. Made of heavy gauge silver, the design shows two faces in profile. Quite large, it measures 1 1/8" tall. It is made so that the design faces out, so that it is size 9 1/4 at the top of the faces and size 8 3/4 at the bottom of the faces. Danish silversmith Gertrude Engel made this unique, modernist ring. Her signature is found on many Anton Michelsen pieces, along with the AM crown maker’s mark (as she designed for that firm). This ring, however, is solely signed by her (see pictures). The rounded band of heavy gauge silver is 1/2” wide. It has a cluster of 10 bezel set carnelian cabochons. It is signed “Gengel,” in script (her maker’s mark), and “925S” and is in excellent condition. It is about a size 5.

An important early brooch of sterling silver by the acclaimed American modernist jeweler, Margaret De Patta. Measures 3" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Early incised maker's mark. Circa 1935. Heavy layered sterling in an abstract floral design. Wonderful condition, with some very minor surface scratches and tarnish. Missing the rollover bar on the clasp. Slight bend on the pin. A similar De Patta brooch can be seen in the Philips de Pury Design Auction dated May 24, 2007, lot number 189....

A rare hand wrought bracelet by Madeline Turner, a New York City Jeweler who worked from the 1930's to the 1950's. She designed jewelry for Georg Jensen USA. In sterling silver with periwinkle blue art glass cabochons. Marked with her conjoined M Turner hallmark. Measures about 6 1/4" around and about 1" wide. Clasp snaps closed tightly. Has a safety clasp. In very nice condition. A wonderful example of her work.

These handsome cuff links are so very sleek while they keep it simple: a welcome characteristic of Pearson’s work. The heavy, solid, sterling silver is another Pearson signature. They measure 1” x 3/4” (x 1/8” at their widest). They are both signed “STERLING PEARSON” and are in excellent condition.

Stunning antique Austro Hungarian silver Renaissance revival necklace with six very large genuine turquoise stones, three in robin's egg blue, and three in dark green. Circa 1900. Marked 830 on the main clasp and 925 on the clasp of the extender (more on the extender below). 830 silver was made in Austria-Hungary. Both pieces also have the same maker's mark, which looks like a conjoined HOH.

Beautiful vintage French wired necklace in silvertone metal with rhinestone balls with prong set stones, clear faceted glass beads, and glass based faux pearls in champagne and very pale gray. Fabulous vintage glass beaded necklace with color changing alexandrite lead crystal glass beads and tiny clear glass spacer beads. Circa 1940. With a beautiful geometric Art Deco pave diamante slide clasp in silvertone metal. From a Baltimore estate and I also have listed several 1940s signed pins and clips from this same estate. Magnificent custom commissioned French clear rhinestone bib necklace and earrings. Gilt brass mounting with all prong set rhinestones numbering 42 large oval faceted and 276 medium round faceted stones. Made to order in Paris for a 1955 beauty queen.

This lovely stanhope (in silver tone) measures 1 1/2" x just under 1". The viewer shows a woman in prayer and has The Lord's Prayer in full. The view is excellent: extremely clear and legible. The cross is decorated with pave-set, colorless rhinestones (some minor yellowing to rhinestones). Also in the viewer it reads MADE IN FRANCE.

This fine piece is beautiful with its pave-set, clear rhinestones, accented by oval (diamond) shaped, faceted stones. It is both a brooch and a pair of shoe clips. It measures 2 5/8" x 1 5/8". The frame is marked Coro Duette in script and PAT No 1798867. The actual clips are marked PAT 1852188. It is in excellent condition.
