A spectacularly fine, museum-quality Victorian figural watch fob worked in 18K yellow gold and platinum depicting Aesop's fable "The Fox and the Grapes." The seal shows the fox's head, jaws agape, straining to reach a juicy cluster of grapes that are just barely out of reach. An elegant pair of 18K yellow gold earrings with lapis lazuli inlay by Angela Cummings. The designer pioneered modern hardstone mosaic techniques when she was a lead designer at Tiffany & Co. She began working at Tiffany in 1967, but was not allowed to sign her own designs until 1974. These earrings are definitely her design, but are unsigned, indicating that they date from the period 1967-74. The earrings are marked “T&Co 18K”.

Mounted in a round, beaded silver gilt setting, the amber cabochons in these cuff links exhibit with a vivid honey color and some cloudiness. The cuff links bear the Soviet marks for .875 silver, as well as the town mark for Riga and an unidentified maker’s mark accompanied by the mark for 1957. They are securely hinged at one end of the bridge bar. The button portions measure 5/8 inch in diameter.

This mid-century pin is the work of Los Castillo. It's a striking modernist design which is composed of two pieces connected with a rivet. The bottom hands and body swings freely with movement. Hand-wrought with intricate detail.

A large cabochon of Baltic amber with a deep, nicely distributed color is mounted within a sterling floral surround; the mounting has a closed back. The amber exhibits hardly any wear. The back has a working original rollover clasp as well as the maker’s mark of Niels Erik From of Denmark. The pin measures about 1 5/8 inches across.

This sterling silver pendant features a ‘space age’ design with a center amethyst cabochon. The surface is textured and oxidized for a whitish patina; there are a few tiny spots of oxidation. The amethyst is securely prong set. The back of the pendant and the bail exhibit a 925 in a cartouche with the words ‘Industria Argentina,’ which roughly translated means Made in Argentina. The pendant, with bail, measures 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. Gross weight: 8.5 grams

Circa 1830, this hand-carved carnelian seal features a coat of arms. It is set in solid 15k rose gold. It is in excellent condition with no damage to the seal or case. The oval seal measures approximately 1" long and .75" wide. The fob is approximately 1.75" tall. It is the perfect companion to a long rose-gold guard chain like item #J1780.

This Los Castillo is one designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Don Antonio Castillo that unhooks and also doubles as a brooch. The matching chain and the drop is repousse and hand carved on top. The drop / brooch measures 3.75 inches tall with a width at it's widest point of 2 1/8th inches. There is a generous wearable length of 17 in. The early hallmarked Los Castillo designs are the best and this is one of those that is seldom found. Properly hallmarked with no damage or repairs...
