A modernist sterling silver brooch with a large raw amethyst stone by Charles H. Cole who signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling. Active 1930s-50s. Measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" wide. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Hand made piece. Pretty purple color.

Rare and beautiful 970 silver and aventurine bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda.This is a wonderful mid-century design, one that I have not seen before. Measuring 7" aroung in the inside when closed, it is 1" wide in the center and gradually tapers to the back. Hinged and opens and closes in the back with a push in clasp and original safety chain. A classic pair of Edwardian cufflinks by Krementz worked primarily in 14K yellow gold. Each face is formed from a carved mother-of-pearl disc set in an engraved platinum border and centering a cabochon blue sapphire. The sapphires, though small, have good blue color that nicely accents the irisdescent surfaces of the surrounding mother-of-pearl. The connectors are marked “14K” and have Krementz’ hallmark. Today I have a most coveted Antonio Pineda onyx crescent bracelet. It is a published design in SILVER SEDUCTION by Stromberg. The height is 1 3/8th's inches and the weight is 117 grams. Circa 1770 Silver seal fob. It is hand engraved with an H monogram. It is beautifully done and well decorated on the top. It would be the perfect thing to hang from an old watch chain. It is unmarked and in excellent condition. The seal portion is oval measuring approximately 7/8" long and 3/4" wide. The fob is 1.25" tall. The overall weight is 12.6 grams.

Of flexible and hand-wrought construction with bezel mounted teal ceramic oval pieces at the terminals. The band shows a warm patina with some roughness under the edge near one end. The outer band shows either a partially obscured mark for sterling or a maker’s mark. It has an 8-inch inner circumference, and is 3/16 inch wide.

A large friendship token pendant or charm featuring a hand holding a gem-set bouquet. The design is presented against a stippled background outlined with an engraved border. The bouquet is set with a cabochon ruby, an emerald cut emerald and a brilliant cut sapphire. Usually referred to as irreverent and whimsical Hubert Harmon was a native of Illinois yet studied at the Parson's School of Design in Paris. In the 1940s, he and his wife Louise settled for a few years in Mexico where Hubert opened a workshop in Taxco and created some of the most interesting designs in the world of vintage Mexican silver jewelry. A lover of parties, poodles and all creatures winged and mythical, he seems to have found inspiration in the country's folk art as well...

Large snake brooch made by Italian designer Piranesi. 18K black gold setting covered with amethysts, pink tourmaline, two approx 5 pt diamonds for eyes. The combination of these stones gives this brooch an overall stunning color, a real standout.

These amethyst earrings have no hallmarks. They were converted to posts, and whatever marks were present are now gone. The design is one which I've only seen from Matilde Poulat. Amethysts are gorgeous, perfectly matched in color with natural inclusions. Each earring measures 1 1/16" x 7/8". Weight is 21.1 grams. No dings, dents, dimples. Amethyst are free of any cracks or chips.

An elegant pendant worked in 18K yellow gold and sterling silver by DeBeers Award winning jewelry designer John Atencio. An Edwardian pot metal paste bangle 1910-1920. This vintage 5/16" wide paste rhinestone hinged bangle is made of dull grey pot metal (brightened in our pictures), and it has dozens of claw-set antique cut paste rhinestones. Paste of this era was less sparkly than later versions and glinted like antique cut diamonds in low lighting conditions (such as at night). It has a double-button box clasp and it is unsigned, and it measures 2-3/8 x 2-1/16" across the interior...

Our photos don't do justice to these bronze and sterling silver artisan-crafted earrings. The curved bronze crescent shapes are bisected by undulating sterling silver forms. Each earrings is completely hand crafted, with the exception of the sterling screw back mechanisms. Circa 1960s. From the posts to the bottoms, the earrings hang approximately 3". Marked "sterling" on the screw-backs.

A classic 1960's Tiffany & Co. stylized floral brooch in 18K yellow gold set with sapphires and diamonds. The cluster of four blossoms are heavily decorated with hammered and carved details accented with clusters of round brilliant cut diamonds and blue sapphires. Though the brooch is bold, the spikiness of the design keeps the overall design from feeling too massive. The diamonds are I color, SI1 clarity and the sapphires are medium, vivid blue color. The back is marked "18K Tiffany & Co."

A sterling silver necklace in an Arts and Crafts design signed Peruzzi, Boston, and Sterling. Central design measures 4" across and 1 1/4" long including the dangle. Necklace measures 14 1/2" long. Could be made longer if needed with an extender. Warm patina, quality piece.

A finely detailed golden elephant charm/pendant is made of 14Kt yellow gold. The elephant stands 7/16” high and 9/16” wide.

A substantial pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, each of the oval faces inset with a mother-of-pearl plaque centering a bezel-set round brilliant diamond of approximately .6 carat. The outer edges of the faces is finished in a border of small round diamonds. The hinges and either end of the back closures are finished with spessartite garnet cabochons. The diamonds are G color, I1 clarity.

An incredible Victorian 14K yellow gold watch fob in the form of an 1880’s style oil derrick. The details are amazing, complete with a pump house, a suspended drilling bit inside the derrick and a collection vat. Even spare parts lie around on the base. The entire piece is completely handworked and was almost certainly a special order and was probably made shortly after the first commercial oil well was drilled in Pennsylvania around 1860. This mid-century ring is a very rare and possibly one of a kind piece from Antonio Pineda. It is absolutely stunning with a large presence, and it's collector quality. The face of the ring features nine dense green stones topped with four pearls. The face measures 1 1/16" x 7/8", and has a height of 7/16". The ring size is 7 1/4. Weight is 15.5 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco crown, 970 Hecho en Mexico, and the eagle assay 17. In excellent vintage condition.

These stylish 14Kt yellow gold cabochon emerald and diamond earrings date back to the 1950-s. The 6 millimeter cabochon emeralds in the center are prong set and each earring is decorated on the edge by six single-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of the two emeralds is 2.5 Ct and the twelve diamonds approximate weight is 0.18 Ct. The earrings have omega (clip) backs, but a post can be added on request.

A stunning heavy 18K gold bracelet enhanced with ornate chased engraving and royal blue champlevé enamel. A substantial sterling silver chain composed of doubled rings, bars and beads with connecting links; there is a central ring for attaching a pendant, or the chain can be worn as is. The secure box clasp bears what appears to be the maker’s mark of Beto, as pictured in Bille Hougart’s Mexican silver marks book, third edition, p. 27. The eagle 22 is the most legible mark; the others are not entirely clear. The chain measures 27 ½ inches long, unclasped. Weight: 38 grams
