This handsome ring has a rippled, Nautilus design with a 2.0ct (Natural Pyrope), prong set garnet. It is a size 8. The ring is marked STERLING and KABANA (with a hallmark Kabana's hallmark). These 1960s cuff links are formed as square buttons, with diagonal scores enhanced by oxidation. They are hollow, but have a substantial feel and a nice heft. Wide copper band is decorated with an applied brass monkey figure inspired by a Precolumbian motif (see the last photo). It is inset with small pieces of abalone. On one side is a discolored area, of about ½ inch square, left from an old label. As the discoloration is on the side, it is not obvious when the cuff is worn.
