An elegant Art Nouveau silver brooch depicting a maiden smelling a rose. She is surrounded in a bower of climbing roses and enclosed in a frame of whiplash curves typical of French Art Nouveau. The clasp is marked for silver and bears the maker's mark of Fernand Boursot, who opened shop in Paris in 1894. This great Modernist, Scandinavian piece displays a lovely pendant with a central, purple stone cabochon. It is marked HW Tenn SWEDEN. HW is for the pewtersmith and Tenn means pewter). The necklace, chain measures just over 24" long.

A lightly hammered pewter brooch with a central rose colored round Ruskin pottery jewel. Marked Hand Wrought Plantagenet, REGSIN, Pending on the back. Plantagenet hand wrought jewelry was retailed through Liberty & Co. of London in the early 1900s.
