Spratling was known to have a large collection of Pre-Columbian Mayan & Olmec objects. He designed this necklace using hand wrought sterling silver beads, coral beads & hand carved obsidian Olmec figures most likely acquired from locals in the surrounding areas of Taxco, Mexico. This handmade wide band ring features a random design of molten drops on a textured surface. The irregular band shape has an upturned edge along the top, where the opposite edge comes to a rounded point. It bears the post-1967 Italian mark for silver, hallmarked for the city of Siena; the hallmark is double-struck, so the maker's number could read 722, 712 or something similar...

Hundreds and hundreds of tiny bronze beads shimmer delightfully on this Robert necklace and matching earrings. The large clasp may be worn on the side for an even more dramatic effect. The shortest of the three strands is 17" end to end. Clasp is 1 1/2" in diameter. Clip earrings are 1 1/4" by 3/4". The necklace has the "Original by Robert" signature on the clasp.

The heart is 2 1/4" long by 2 1/8" wide plus the berries. This brings the total length of the pin to 3 1/2" in length. As you can see in the picture the wires are showing some wear. On the right side of the heart there appears a line with white shadow showing through the red. Considering it's age it has been well loved.

Los Castillo's fern clamper is simply the best. No other leaf can compare. The weight is heavy at 101 grams. The height is 3.75 inches. For fit the inside diameter is 2.5 in. Sterling silver and 14 karat gold bangle bracelet, set with three pearls and three rubies, each mounted in yellow gold. The gems are set equidistant from one another. The pearls are deeply lustrous and have a fine, faint pink tint. The pear-shaped rubies are also of good color and clarity. The pearls are 6mm in diameter; the rubies are approximately 4mm x 2mm. A very handsome pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks designed by Kieselstein-Cord to represent ancient Greek coins. The faces are decorated with images of horses, the animal sacred to the goddess Pallas Athena, and images similar to this often appear on the obverse of ancient coins minted in Athens.
