Etching with color possibly hand-applied, 5 1/4" by 5 5/8" inside the inner gold fillet, 11 1/2" by 10 7/8" as framed, unsigned, by important French 20th century artist MARIE LAURENCIN (1885-1956). From having checked the 1981 catalog raisonne by Daniel Marchesseau, I have determined that the most official title of this work is "Fillette aux Yeux Vertes" ("Young Girl with Green Eyes", although a number of other titles are in common usage for this unusually popular print)...

Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, 1796-1875, French, "Paysage d'Italie," Etching, image size 6 x 9 1/8 inches, cat: Melot- C.7, later printing without Cadart lettering, possibly after it was removed. This is a very nice impression with wide borders, printed on a medium weight cream colored laid type paper. This atmospheric image from Corot's series of Italian landscapes is a great example of his ability to capture the life and movement of the scene with loose spontaneous lines and rich tones.

Auguste Brouet 1872-1941 French This is a beautiful color aquatint etching by the French artist Auguste Brouet. The title is: Arabesque, created and printed in 1920 in an edition of 250, this impression is numbered 155/250. Hand signed in pencil, A ballet scene with two dancers performing an arabesque. At the back an opulent stage set, with other performers standing in the wings. The image measures 10 3/4X15 inches...

A Fine Painting from the Noted Tucson Artist, Marylka Modjeska (1893-1966). Modjeska studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, in Provincetown, MA, at the Art Student League in New York and the Academie Julian in Paris. This Painting measures about 23 1/2" by 20" in its frame of about 28" by 24".

A highly detailed nineteenth century PENCIL DRAWING, NOT A PRINT, featuring a classic turreted castle, with numerous (approximately twenty) figures completing the scene, unframed, 7" by 9 1/8". The artist signed at lower left corner "F. Pohl", and "1846" is written on the reverse. Nearby are two blue stamps that could be collector stamps. Condition is excellent, needs a frame.

A charming miniature portrait of two beautiful children, painted on natural material by William Egley. Housed in what is probably the original bronze frame.

Both the painting and the frame are in excellent condition, with no issues. The painting is 1 3/4" in diameter, and the frame is 2 7/8".

A mid 20th century watercolor on paper landscape painting of craggy classical mountains and gnarled pines, signed at center left with characters. The work measures 14" by 19" (24 1/2" by 30", no glass).

This is a small but powerful, classic work of the 1930's, a view of two men and a woman waiting----appropriately titled, apparently by the artist, on the reverse backing, "Waiting Room". Unframed, presently with just a mat, the piece itself measures 7 3/4" by 10 1/4". The artist is ALBERT ABRAMOVITZ (1879-1963). Abramovitz was born in Riga, Latvia...
