Oil on canvas laid against wood panel painting of a young woman in traditional type clothing of Southeast Asia, likely the Philippines or Indonesia. The sizable work measures 37" by 24" (43 1/2" by 30 1/2" in wood frame). At lower right, in red, there does appear to be a signature but I am not certain as to how it reads; possibly "HA.....". The canvas is a little buckled especially at left, as it is laid against the panel and not firmly glued to it...

A vintage oil on canvas painting of a river canyon of the west or Southwest, circa 1950's, good-sized at 24" by 32" (32" by 40" in the likely original old charming frame), signed at lower right by artist Charles Crowder. I do not see a "listed" artist name that would correspond. The work much resembles that of California impressionist landscape artist James Merriam (1880-1951). Condition is excellent.

A contemporary drawing in gouache in the classic Indian manner, depicting mounted royalty on elephants, other mounted apparently royal figures (maharaja?) on a camel and horse, in an exotic landscape including a palace in the distance. The work is in the style commonly seen for at least 500 years in India and Persia. The artist has taken great care with the amazing details. Measures 13 1/2" by 10 3/4" framed. An oil on panel painting of a red covered bridge in a mountain landscape, a village at left center, 13" by 19 1/2" (16" by 22" framed), signed at lower right by artist Ed Mifflin. I do not see a listing for this name. The scene likely shows Vermont or Maine; possibly there are covered bridges in hilly southern Ohio that might fit. In any event the circa 1960 work is very poetic...
