It was created and printed circa 1930. It is pencil signed and inscribed "to Elmerine (Finn) a Vermont artist with best wishes". A large watercolor painting, apparently unsigned, 20 1/2" by 28 1/2" (52 cm. by 72 cm.) and 27 1/2" by 36" framed. The antique work has been laid on a thin card, earlier in the 20th century, so if there was information on the recto it is hidden. The fascinating scene contains at least 20 figures going about their business, two horses, numerous boats, and windmills in the distance, and carefully rendered architectural facades. A watercolor and gouache painting of a creek lined by mature white birch trees, 14 1/2" by 21 1/2" in its thin strip frame, the work signed at lower left "A. ABRAMS". The eastern artist Raphael Senseman of New Jersey painted in much this same style, so much so that one is tempted to think that "A. Abrams" could be a pen name. The watercolor is fresh and in excellent condition.

A nicely worked painting of a lovely flamenca dancer in Spain, circa 1950's, 20 1/4" by 16 1/2" plus narrow frame, signed at lower right by listed artist CESAR VILOT. This is a fantastic oil on Masonite painting of Columbus landing at the Indian Islands. This painting is signed and dated 1921 by artist Frank Herbert Zeitler of Germany.
