Gerald Leslie Brockhurst 1890-1978 English This is a fine portrait study by British artist Gerald Brockhurst. The subject is James McBey the well known British etcher. This etching was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 111. This pencil signed impression measures an image size of 10 1/2X7 1/2 inches. This etching was Illustrated in Fine Prints of the Year, 1931. Cat. Fletcher 69.

George Elbert Burr 1859-1939 American This is a fine original etching by American artist George Elbert Burr. The title is Evening, a very atmospheric impression, both pencil signed and titled. The image measures 12X10 inches. Printed on a medium weight buff toned laid paper. Very rich and fine inking on this image. It appears in the Burr catalog as image number 124.

A fine aquatint print circa 1930's, the subject one of the famous canals of old Bruges, Belgium, pencil signed at lower right margin by French artist FREDERIC LOUIS LEVE (1877-1968), and numbered in pencil 86 at lower left margin, where there is a blind stamp in the paper. Leve was a painter in oil and watercolor but is most widely known for his skill in aquatint, a form of etching which lends itself to creating prints that look very much like watercolor...

Walter Tittle 1883-1966 American This is another fine hand signed drypoint etching by American artist Walter Tittle. It is titled: St. Bartholomews, New York, created and printed circa 1930. The image measures 10X13 3/4 inches. Nicely framed with archaval materials. A wonderfully rich impression of this rare etching.

By Hungarian Artist Bela Szikiay, and dating to the 1930's, this fine etching measures 16" x 11", with a sight size of 11 3/4" x 8 1/4". It is affixed to a folded mat with backing, and is in good condition, with some minor foxing on the mat and one spot on the print, visible in the sky in the upper right area. Harold Kerr Eby 1889-1946 American This is an original etching and aquatint by American artist Kerr Eby. The subject is Eby's home which he named Driftway, in Westport Connecticut. This etching is hand signed in pencil and has an image size of 8 3/8X15 3/8 inches. Printed in an edition of 100 in 1939. This image appears in the Giardina catalog as image number 196. Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

Vintage and early Hawaiian art is scarce to rare, and desirable. This is a 1932 etching, "Hawaii Hall", one of the principal buildings of the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus, on Oahu. It is pencil signed at lower right margin. An image of this print is included in the university's yearbook for 1932. Harold Kerr Eby 1889-1946 American This is an original etching and aquatint by American artist Kerr Eby. The title is Refugees, a study from his series of WWI images that he created as a War Artist. This pencil signed impression has an image size of 9 15/16X14 7/8 inches. This impression was last sold by Keppel in New York, it came to us in the original frame. A dramatic rich impression printed by the artist himself.

Arthur J. T. Briscoe, British, 1873-1943, "Flooded Decks". This incredible image by the British etcher, Arthur Briscoe, measures 8 1/8 x 15 3/8 inches, inked signed and numbered, 73/75, created in 1931. Briscoe studied at the Slade Art School and the Academy Julian in Paris and then spent the rest of his time sailing, becoming one of the most prominent British marine artists of the 20th century. He owned his own three ton cutter which he used to sail around the Essex coast...
