Chinese brush painting by Nie Ou. A well known female artist in China, she was born in 1948. She graduated from Central Art Academy School in Beijing and has received several awards. Her work is shown worldwide. This is one of seven pictures we have. It is mounted on silk brocade. The entire area is 19 inches by 29 inches; the picture size is 13 inches by 18 inches.

Japanese limited edition woodblock print by Morihiro Sato (b. 1943) depicting white bellflowers. A student of Joichi Hoshi who was influenced by Hoshi's use of metallic pigments, the artist set the flowers and partial moon (or sun) against a metallic background. Depending upon the lighting conditions (see image taken with flash) the background appears either golden or silver. The print is pencil-titled in kanji "Autumn (Bellflowers)" and numbered 3/55 at the lower left...

A Bronze Sculpture "Folded Needle" by Shim Moon Sup(b.1942): Korea, Korean. A Long solid bronze folded sculpture with a green painated and Some broze naive standing in the cylindrical Granite stone base, it's a very long and heavy sculpture by Moon Sup Shim, the ex-owner bought the sculpture directly at the Jin Gallery, Seoul, 1990s. It's in very fine condition without any damages at all. Measurents: 25.5" (65cm) overall. and 55cm x 5cm x 2.5cm bronze only.

Original silk screen print of sunflowers by the Japanese artist, Yukio Katsuda. The use of very thick ink was part of Katsuda's technique lending the finished image a pointalist effect. Born in Japan in 1941, Katsuda has worked and exhibited extensively in both Japan and in the United States. This print is signed Y. Katsuda in pencil and dated '81. It is numbered 35 of 100 in this series. Katsuda also gave each of his print series a number...

Haku Maki started making embossed prints circa 1965. These in the main featured embossing that came out from the back to the front. However, I suddenly discovered that a number of prints in the 1976 - 1977 period were done with the embossing going into not out of the front This style or process does not seem to have hurt any aspect of Maki’s work nor benefited it...

Limited edition Japanese silkscreen over metal leaf by Kazutoshi Sugiura (b. 1938) depicting an ikebana arrangement titled "Iris No. 48" dated 1985. Pencil-signed, dated '85, titled in kanji, and numbered 32/100 in the bottom margin. Paper: 20” x 12 1/2" (image: 17” x 9 3/8”). Excellent original condition.

A watercolor painting featuring a scenic view of what I believe to be Vernal Falls in Yosemite National Park, signed at lower left by California artist Dolores Manning. On the backing in pencil the artist titled the work "Springtime---Still Snowing" and signed it once again. The 18 1/2" by 12 1/2" work (25 1/2" by 19" in gold metal framing) is by a woman artist who recently passed away in Malibu, California. A number of her works were available for purchase at the estate sale...
