The subject could be mistaken for Paris, what with the advertising kiosk, but this is in fact the Vienna Opera House in Austria. This painting is in its original A.P. Critchlow thermoplastic velvet lined case, an item which, in and of itself, is often sought after by collectors. Note that this case was produced even before a patent was granted.

Condition of the painting is excellent, with no issues whatsoever...
