By noted South African artist, Otto Klar (born in Austria, 1908-1994), this drawing depicts a group of huts, some figures, and hills in the background. In a simple wood frame, it measures 10 3/4" by 12 5/8" (sight size 6" by 8"), and is inscribed on the back, "Christmas South Africa, 1977, Gift from Otto Klar, Dec 2nd". In pencil, on buff colored paper, frame and double matting are clearly original, and the drawing appears to be in excellent condition...

Armenian watercolor painting of the famous, sacred snow-covered mountain, Ararat, signed in Armenian at lower right. The work measures 11 1/4" by 16" (14" by 18 3/4" in gold frame).
