Oil on canvas painting of a young woman seen in 3/4 view, signed at upper left (incised) Dan A Griggs and dated there '90. The work measures 10 1/2" by 8" (16" by 14" framed). I opened the backing to see if there was any more information on the talented artist but was stymied by the foamboard being partially affixed to the canvas. For the Judaica or Jewish art collector, a SET OF THREE original pastel on paper drawings, all signed in Hebrew and dated 1987 or 1989, all 13 1/4" by 9" (18 3/4" by 13 1/2" as framed), the subjects various ancient buildings in, I would imagine, Jerusalem or another historical city of Israel. I am unable to read Hebrew but a friend thought the signature was "M. Schnase" or something like that...
