Dated in cycle years to 1999 and signed in black ink Dawei with one red Dawei seal of the artist. Mounted for framing with a cream-colored silk border. Painting: 27” x 26 1/8” (including silk border: 35” x 34 1/2"). Very good overall condition. During mounting, a few barely noticeable and well executed repairs were made to small losses in the paper primarily at the edges...

This is an oriignal aquatint etching by British artist Leonard R. Squirrell, this etching was created and printed in 1924 in an edition of 75 signed proofs. The image measures 11X16 1/4 inches. Pencil signed by the artist in pencil lower right border. Fine use of highlight and shadow making a dramatic composition. Printed on a medium weight wove type paper. A rare image only found in Museums.

A beautifully painted portrait miniature by William Naish, done in watercolor on natural wafer. The sitter is a nice-looking gentleman with brown eyes and powdered hair with a pigtail. He is attired in a blue jacket, a white ruffled shirt, an elaborately tied white scarf, all highlighted with a slash of brilliant red. The case is copper, of very high quality, of the type with side pins holding together the front and back...

He spent time studying at the Art Students League in NYC and in 1968 he decided to devote all his time to painting...
