A nice set of three lovely laquered and stamped silver bar coins, Thailand, c. 16th.-17th. cent. and a Laotian 'Canoe' money bar in silver-bronze, c. 1707-1889 AD.

The Laos Canoe money weighs 113.5 grams and the three Thai silver coins, 58.48 gr., 49,34 gr. and 65.31 gr., so it's probably same issue but different dating, in the 16th.-17th. century.

An antique book published in 1898 by Velhagen & Klasing, Verlag. The tan linen boards feature embossed black and gold gilding. There is a tiny tear on the title page and the end papers are missing. Possibly an eighth edition, the text is in German.

Antique German bronze medal that was minted in 1897 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Walloon and Dutch community in Hanau. The medal was made by the Mayer and Wilhelm workshop in Stuttgart and features a bust portrait of Philipp Ludwig II Graf von Hanau-Münzenberg (1596-1612) in relief, as well as a view of the Walloon church on the obverse.

An unusual item for the philatelist collector of the famous Great Britain "Penny Rose" stamp of Victorian England: 240 stamps, arranged in a rectangle 20 by 12, all used (canceled) examples, dating to 1864,at the earliest, as these are all perforated and bear the positional plating letters in each corner. An interesting gold filled on silver (?) locket with an engine turned cover on either side lifting to reveal a close up daguerreotype of a well-dressed woman on one side and on the other side of the locket a well-dressed man. They both look to be around forty years old and perhaps since the locket has a stem and ring it was meant to be worn like a small pocket watch by a grown child of theirs. 1 ½ inches diameter, with the stem and ring an additional 5/8 inches long.
