This pretty crystal, Ruby Flashed, Ashburton Candy Dish with Lid was made by Westmoreland Glass. The Ashburton pattern is hard to find in crystal ruby flashed. It measures 7 3/4 inches to top of knob X 4 1/8 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The ruby stain is all very good. Pair of cylinder cases, thinly potted with narrow necks and feet painted in mirror image with birds perched among flowering prunus plants. Accented red hand drawn borders at the rims and base of each vase with a poem on the opposite side.
On the base of each is a red overglaze seal of Liu Yucen.
Condition: On one of the vases, there is the remnants of a Jianding export seal. Next to this seal is a glaze crack, most likely from trying to remove the seal...

Daum's well-known vintage Pate de Verre glass plaque, 'La Danse'. The figurine is 10 1/2 inches (27 cm) long, 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide. It is in fine condition (there are some fine craquellaire, typical of Pate de Verre glass items - see picture).

A rare antique Chinese apple green Peking Glass snuff bottle with stopper. The bottle has rounded shoulders and a thin carved oval shaped foot. The jade lid with a coiled dragon and bone spoon. Chinese glass was largely used to imitate more precious materials such as white jade, Lapis Lazuli and other valuable minerals.

This very nicely molded mid 20th century Guan-Yin statue is 9 5/8” high, 5 ¼” wide and 2 ½” thick. It depicts Guan-Yin holding a Ruyi seated on a lotus surrounded rock. A basket containing fish sits on her left side and three fish hold her right sleeve. The artist’s seal is on the back of her robe. Aside from a small chip from a fish tail, it is in great condition.
The Cape Cod pattern was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1932 through 1984 when they closed. Not all pieces were made throughout those years, but the long production period is testimony to its lasting popularity. Offered here is the #140 comport & lid in crystal that dates to the 1940's - 50's. The comport stands 10 inches high to the top of the knob handle and is 6 1/4 inches wide. Excellent condition, see my other listings for more in this pattern.
