Tibetan Himalayan low grade large Hard Silver Belt Buckle, Ca. 1930's, 11 1/2" wide, 3 3/4" high, 1 3/4" deep, slightly curved to fit the shape of the front part of the waist, and high relief deep hand hammered and impressed design of double goats in the center with three(3) inlaid turquoise stones, large loose ring is attached on the bottom and two(2) hooks are located on the back inside. The condition is good, no damages.

This carved amethyst snuff bottle is a mid 20th century product. It is 2 1/8” high, 3” wide and 1” thick. It depicts two lotus pods wrapped with lotus leaves. The hard stone lid and bamboo spoon are later replacements. It is in excellent condition.

This is a contemporary, excellently carved carved polychrome netsuke depicting a standing Jurojin, one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, who is known as the god of longevity. He holds a staff with a sutra hanging from it on his right hand, and a fan on his left hand. Intricate detail and colors characterize this wonderful miniature sculpture carved by Akihiro Zusuki, a netsuke artist currently living in Hokkaido, Japan...

Finely crafted Chinese shoushan carving of a Guanyin, standing and holding a scepter with right hand, by her feet is a boy in standing position and a Dragon by her left side, early to mid 20th century period, 8 inches in height, condition consistent with age with damage to the right side of base, no damages to the figures.

Finely crafted Chinese white jade pendant suspended on red silk cord with small green jade bead depicting Shoulao, God of Longevity in high relief, holding a peach, surmounted by a bat. Smooth polished surface with incised details. Slight wear at bottom edge. Size; Hight of carving is 2 5/8 inches with length of 2 inches.

A wooden carved Tibetan mask. The art of Tibetan masks can be classified into religious type and folk type. Exorcising masks were initially held to drive away ghosts and evil spirits. Later were used in local operas. Size: 27cm X 13cm.

Brilliant folk art piece. A clay 'Fushimi Ningyo' sumo doll from the 1930s. Fushimi Ningyo dolls were sought after souvenirs by visitors to Kyoto. Fushimi Inari being one of the must see great shrines of southern Kyoto. The detail of the arms and fabulous facial expression make this a collector's piece. Helmet "ngontang" mask with four faces of circular form and a top of cross form. Wood with white and black pigments. Old collection mark inside. Africa, Gabon, Fang ethnic group. Height: 19.5 cm. Diameter: 15.5 cm. The mask is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Abrasion, otherwise good condition. Provenance: French provincial auction sale.

This apron would be worn for festival by young woman, recently married and hoping to become pregnant or in the early stage of pregnancy. After the baby is born, the straps will be relocated so that the apron is converted to a baby carrier. The coin bottom border is show hope for good fortune for the baby. The 3 tassles on the end of the apron straps are show hope for eventually having 3 children. The butterfly is considered the mother of the Miao people.

Extremely beautiful Chinese scroll by artist Yuan Feng Zhau of a robed scholar seated in a grassy field next to a flat boulder, studying. The rising moon can be seen in the background, hanging above a small cliff with branches with beautiful blossoming flowers curled around it. The brush strokes and colors used give a sense of serenity. It is signed and stamped in the corner. 20th century Size: 58.5" height, 18.5" width
