Charming small Japanese lidded box in the shape of a folding fan, made of silver with copper for handle, incised with two family mon inside and two impressed marks on back of outside, one reads the name of the maker, Kyuka-sei and the other which reads jungin or sterling silver. A beautifully shaped green vessel by Miyashita Zenju enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It stands 10 inches (25.5 cm) tall, 8-1/2 inches (22 cm) diameter and is in fine condition.
Zenju (1901-1968) studied pottery in Japan, Korea and China, and is held in the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art as well as the Kyoto National Museum. Work by the artist was exhibited pre-war at the Bunten and Nitten National Exhibitions as well as the 1939 and 1940 World Exposition...

Early to mid 19th century game box, holding a box of bone playing tokens plus two lacquered wooden trays on the left and 8 sculpted lacquer trays on the right. Generally the box is in good condition. The outside has some fading, age wear and chips. The legs have had some repairs. The interior is in very good condition. Dimensions: 32x16x12 cm.

Large Chinese hongmu cabinet with beautifully carved motifs of scrolling clouds and dragons on the panels of the cabinets, frames, and pillars. This is attributed to Wu Changshuo calligraphy style and signed as his work, can't confirm as his handwriting and calligraphy, it is old to me, please consult expert before ordering, we are no expert in this area but it looks good to decorate as it has the elegance. Quite badly damaged.

This very well designed and carved overlay glass snuff bottle is a 1970’~1980”s product. The red over bubbled milky white snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 2 1/8” wide and 1” thick. Both sides have the same design which depicts a pond scene with carp, butterfly, a lotus blossom and leaves. It has an orange carnelian cap. It is in great condition.

This carved dark hair crystal snuff bottle is a 1970’~1980”s product. It is 3 ¾” high, 1 3/8” wide and 1” thick. It is carved as a bamboo stalk with small branches and leaves around it. There are two dragonflies resting on the stalk. It has an agate cap. It is very well hollowed and it is in great condition.

This jade (nephrite) carving is a mid-20th century product. It is 3” high, 2 ¼” wide (measured from the widest part) and 1” thick. It depicts a playful monkey climbing on top of two pomegranates; a small RuYi (如意) scepter with LingZhi (靈芝) ends rests on the back of the carving. It is in great condition.

A large bottle vase painted in Qianjiang style with eight fishes swimming amongst aquatic plants. On one side is a poem which reads "A fisherman I am not, using brush as fishing rod. Casually sketch a few fishes, then look into the painting on the pot. Winter of Ji Si year (1929). Tie Jian Zi Deng Bishan painted at Zhu Shan Mountain." On the base is the seal mark "Bishan". This ivory snuff bottle is a mid - 20th century product. It is 2 5/8” high, 1 ¾” wide and 1” thick. One side is a relief carving of Shou Xing (God of Longevity) and his young apprentice. The other side is an etching of bird, flowers and trees. It is in great condition.
