A large and very attractive, lobed Kutani vase with a high neck in porcelain. The piece is decorated w. a mottled, preussian-blue glaze over which are purplish splashes covering the upper part. Signed in the bottom with a seal Kutani Yasokichi (1907–1997), (second generation Tokuda, and father of Living National Treasure Tokuda Yasokichi. Accompanied by fully signed kiri-box. Japan, Showa, ca. 1970. H 29 cm. CONDITION: Flawless.
Length approximately 15.7 cm ( the tipspout to the handle) and height 9.5 cm. The teapot has a soft tiny chip at the spout (not appeared) and few tiny chips at the ring base. Good condition.
A pair of deeply carved Chinese cinnabar lacquer trays, with flower petal edges, the surfaces carved with foliate imagery such as peaches, pomegranates, citron, persimmon, and berries. Similar pieces can be seen from the 15th/16th century. Most likely this pair dates from the early 20th century.

This is a piece of noh drama costume which is called "Choken". Choken is made of silk gauze or weft silk gauze with woven designs with gold and colored threads. It is worn by a dancer or noble man in the noh stage. This choken has woven design of Hagi ( Japanese clover ) and Nadeshiko ( Dianthus ) with gold threads. This saye gosha (or segusha) shows the dynamic use of line and vivid color for which Uzbek Lakai embroidery is famous. Saye gosha are V-shaped hangings used to decorate piles of quilts while in storage during the day in the yurt. The Lakai are an Uzbek tribe who currently live around Kunduz in northern Afghanistan. An extremely finely and delicately painted eggshell porcelain bowl by Wang Yijun. The poem on the reverse side reads "Wen ji qi wu xiang feng nian, fu gui rong hua ren ping an. Wang Yijun zuo" which can translate as "Practice the sword while hearing roosters (meaning work hard) and enjoy the affluence of the year; wish people wealth, prosperity and safety.
