This carved smoky crystal snuff bottle is 2” high, 3” long and 1” thick. It depicts a lucky bat resting on a melon. The crystal has some natural flaws. However, the color is quite even and it has been well hollowed and polished. It has a coral top. This is a mid-20th century product and is in good condition.

Very rare, large lidded rattan basket from the Nung Rawang ethnic group of Northern Burma, Kachin State. The Rawang are a subgroup of the Kachin people and live in some of the last great wilderness forests left in Burma. Also it is interesting to note that the men do the weaving and with advent of plastic bags this pretty much an extinct craft.
