A Chinese porcelain Famille Verte brush pot with motif of birds perching on trees surrounded by flowers done in Kangxi style. Unsigned.

Vase by Danish manufacturer Hjorth, c 1920-30. Grey stoneware, decoration of Art Déco scroll work in “flow” copper red under beautifully crackled glaze. Probably by Hans Hjorth. The Hjorth Terracotta Factory, now part of the Bornholm museum, is still working in the same premises where it was founded in the 19th century, still using the same equipment. Impressed deer mark (Hjorth is Danish for deer). Height "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine

Kon, dark blue, Indigo-dyed cotton haori woven in botan kasuri (peony ikat) technique. Cotton liner features pattern of a crane’s head within hexagons, representing tortoise shells; both crane and tortoise symbolizing long life. A haori is a jacket worn over the kimono when going out. In contemporary fashion, it can easily be worn over jeans for casual wear or slacks for a more elegant look. Excellent condition, ca. mid-late1900’s...

This pretty crystal clear Doric and Pansy depression glass tea or coffee Cup and Saucer were made by Jeannette Glass from 1935 to 1938. The Cup measures 3 3/8 inches diameter; the Saucer measures 5 1/4 inches diameter. Both the Cup and Saucer are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Ceramic chawan (tea bowl) for tea ceremony with multifaceted outside and enso circle shape foot. Unusual piece made in marbled technique with resulting surface perfectly imitating twisted patterns of a burl wood. The effect is achieved by laminating different colored clays together and throwing them on a wheel to develop a swirling and spiraling effect...

Exceptional early Showa Period c.1937 art deco bronze flower vase in the original signed paulownia box. The kanji on the box reads: Chudo Ume Moyo "bronze vase with plum petal motif. Also Kabin or "flower vase". On the inside is the signature of Tatsugo and his seal. The bronze has plum petals in raised relief and inside small crosses. The vase itself is divided in sections by incissed lines. Ask for shipping quote. H:20cm ; diameter is 22cm.

This is a really nice crystal ribbed glass Refrigerator Bottle with Lid and metal spout made by McKee. This Jar measures 10 1/2 inches long X 5 1/2 inches X 5 inches. The Bottle is in very good condition. The bottom has no chips, cracks or cloudiness. The lid has a tiny, 1/8 inch flea bit on the side facing you in the picture. Lovely pair of small Chinese ginger jars measuring only 5.5 inches high including finial and 3.5" in diameter. They feature a beautiful crackle glaze with a polychrome scene depicting warriors in the Battle of the 3 Kingdoms. These jars were last used as a antique decorative item on top of a diminutive slant top writing desk in a NYC Park Avenue Apartment before the family retired to NC.
