Chinese blue and white vase From ROC era
An Art Deco Lightolier luster Czech glass shade ceiling lamp from the 1920s. This scarce beauty has a paneled Czechoslovakian pale yellow lustre glass shade with floral screened designs in blue, yellow and orange. The shade is stamped LIGHTOLIER and it measures 8-1/8" across the open bottom and 9-1/4" in total across. The top opening is 6-3/4" and this lamp retains its original cream-painted metal mount with three metal spokes with finger screws...
Japanese Kiri wood Serving Tray with two(2) open handles on both sides, 18" x 12" wide, 1 3/4" high, very nice condition in original paper box.
Chinese landscape scroll painting, with accompanying calligraphy poem about different ways to escape the Summer heat, such as resting beneath a willow tree on the edge of the lake. Signed Huang Jun Bi (1898-1991), dated Summer of 1981. With three red chops.

A Dutch silver figural sugar sifter spoon from the 1920s. This 5-1/2" nicely detailed table serving spoon features a woman carrying two pails as the finial and the bowl is nicely pierced. It has an obscured maker's mark and a difficult to see sword mark on the join of the handle and bowl and it could date anywhere from the 1900s to the 1950s. It weighs 26.3 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

Myra glass was treated to the surface with silver nitrate and metal salts to create rich and varied iridized effects. DESCRIPTION: A lovely Chinese bamboo-framed cabinet having painted scenes of bamboo and birds on a yellow ground. The rectangular top is mounted over a door that opens to an interior cabinet with three shelves. A delightful piece for the bedroom or country/cottage interior, 20th C. Good condition with minor wear. DIMENSIONS: 35.25" H x 20.5" W x 14.5" D.
Set of two Chinese ink stones. The larger one is carved with dragons and clouds surrounding the three pots. On the back there are two sections of writing. The other stone is covered and the front cover has scenic carving with a poem. On the back of this one there is a three character seal mark. Both stones are well used.

Set of three Chinese Qingbai celadon glaze bowls with incised design on the inside. The outside glazed the same, but left blank. The foot rims and bases as well as the top rims left unglazed.
Size: All bowls are approximately 6" diameter by 2-3/8" high
Condition: Two of the bowls are in good condition with the exception of some minor kiln imperfections due to firing. The third bowl has a rim crack and also a chip. Refer to pictures.

BOWL #1 - Thickly potted with a thick slightly blue (Qingbai ?) glaze with a rolled rim. The glaze stopping short of the base revealing the white clay and the unglazed rim and base. No markings.

Condition: Bowl is slightly warped, but in otherwise good condition...

The tea caddy has a orange peel white glaze ground with a central flower with butterflies on the front and back. Similar design is on each side. The cap is original. The base left bare.

Pair of Chinese cloisonne baluster vases with matching covers. Designed all over with fish swimming among lotus pods and other foilage on a white background. Ruyi shoulder design. The insides are enamelled in a dark blue. The rims and bases in copper. The covers designed the same with the same blue enamel on the inside.

A Chinese porcelain 'famille rose' jar, finely painted with flowering peony vignettes and fruits on a white ground. The inside glazed white, as well as the base with the base rim and the exterior neck left unglazed. No markings. This is a very nice heavy jar.

Art Deco 950 silver ice bucket. Made by Tetard Freres in Paris, ca 1930. Trapezoidal with applied rim and two rectangular supports mounted to stained-wood. Sides gently convex with fashionable skyscraper motif. Fully marked with Minerva head and maker’s mark. Very good condition.

A pair of large droplet shaped pendant lamps in cool green and blue murrines that resemble cells. An Ermanno Toso design from around 1960. The murrines are floating in a clear glass matrix on which they were gathered, heated, then blown.
Each hanging fixture has a satiny acid matte finish and is capped with a polished brass plate with loop for hanging. The brass plates appear to be original. The brass plates are held on by clips and can be removed to change the bulbs.

A Japanese mezzotint print by artist Katsunori Hamanishi (b. 1949-present). He graduated with an art degree from Tokai University in 1973 and has since been living in Kyoto to work on his printmaking.
This mezzotint is titled "Play-I", numbered 20/70 of its series, and hand signed by the artist in pencil.

An Algonquin lidded sewing or yarn basket circa 1930s. This lovely Native American 10" tall and 6-1/2" across utility sewing basket has large hoop handles and the lid has a coiled wood yarn guide opening on the lid. This porcelain group was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen between 1969 and 1974. The model number is 1107. They measure 6 inches high and 5 1/2 inches wide. They are signed by the renowned modeler, Knud Kyhn. This rowdy pair of cubs are full of action playing. This artist was able to capture the moment in lively motion. They are hand painted in the typical Royal Copenhagen pallet of colors.
Condition: Excellent first quality.

The fur, toes and fingers are all well defined. Their facial expressions give these little imps charm. They are hand painted in earth tones.
