Round decorative tile of an early steamship atop a Sherwin-Williams-type schematic earth, diameter 7 3/8" and about 7/8" thick at the edges. This is a hand crafted and no doubt unique piece; hand painted, and glazed. On the reverse is scratched into the ceramic what I take to be apparently the date: "11-7-22". There are two holes drilled at the top, through which a wire has been strung, to allow this to hang on a wall. See several thousand paintings, drawings and prints in my shop.

An English hand painted Gaudy Welsh tea set by Allerton's, consisting of the 6" high teapot (including finial), the 5" tall large covered sugar bowl, the 4-3/4" tall milk or cream jug, four 2-1/2" tall cups and four 5-7/8" fitted saucers. A rare and beautiful Murano glass vase made by Barovier & Toso around 1950, in their 'Laguna Gematta' decor. The aqua-colored vase has embedded flecks of gold, which is typical of Laguna/autumno Gematta decor. Charming stylized donkey in the "colorization without fusion" technique by Ercole Barovier. On a recent visit to Murano, I showed a photo of this donkey to Lino Toso, director of the Barovier Toso Museum, and he said he could confirm 80% that this is the work of Ercole. The donkey measures 5.25"h x 2.25"w x 3.25"d, in good condition, unmarked.

These well-carved hardwood Luo Han statues are about 8 1/4 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 4 inches in depth. They were carved around 1950. One is holding a 7 storied pagoda; the other is holding a four sided vase. Both have inlayed eyes, but the latter is missing his right eye. They are in good condition.
