Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1174 fan vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in emerald green. The vase is approximately 4 inches high and in perfect condition. Very rare tomesode with blue birds. A light to medium weight crepe silk decorated with yuzen dyeing techique and small touches of silk embroidery. On the front panels each bird’s head and throat is embroidered using satin stitch method. Some of the leaves are accented with fine gold threads at their edges and a small grouping of flowers are decorated with very small French knots. The back is plain, except for three white mon (family crests). The painted design is repeated in the lining...

A Large Original Sign for "Mudjekeewis A Camp for Girls" in Lovell, Maine that operated from 1919-1969. Measures about 37 1/4" by 31 1/4" by 1 3/4" and weighs about thirty pounds. Two sided, both shown. There is a vintage photo of this sign in place on the website of the Lovell Maine Historical Society. Great memorabilia and folk art.

Wonderful patina covers this vintage backpack from the Philippines. A bamboo frame supports the basket woven of plant vines which was made and used by one of the indigenous tribal island groups. The woven straps can be adjusted into position and it is actually a light weight and comfortable. Excellent condition...large 22 inches high, 16 inches across and 10 inches deep.

Circa 1920's Dart pattern by Lancaster Glass Company bowl with its original 2 handled underplate or tray. The tray measures 12.5” from handle to handle and has a variety of uses on its own such as cake plate, sandwich or appetizer serving tray. Very large Samurai doll from the late Showa period with beautiful brocade costumes. This is a hero or musha ningyo doll for Boy’s Day (May 5th) in Japan. Some dolls are made to depict a hero or warriors from the past. This doll is a quite impressive size of 22” in height without the hat and 15” in width

This is a rare antique porcelain figurine glazed all over in white depicting a courtship couple sitting on a large rock with a young sheep at their feet. This figurine was made by the Ernst Bohne Sohne Rudolstadt Volkstedt plant in Germany in the mid to late 19th century. At the back of the figurine near the base is a blue 5 prong crown with the letter "N" written in under-glaze blue...

Japanese woodblock print of a tall pagoda standing in a moonlit scene, with several ladies walking the streets under parasols, and small shops lit by lanterns along the side. Signed "Tangyu Asada" (1899-1984) with chop and calligraphy. Tangyu's birth name was Benji Asada, born in Kyoto, he was active in Sosaku Hanga artist circles in the area.

From a local estate comes a pair of very, very detailed Tibetan thangka paintings, one measuring 24" by 19 3/4" in its gold frame and the other 21 1/2" by 16 1/4". I am not a specialist in art of the Indian subcontinent and the Himalayas or Tibetan Plateau region, but I understand these to be highly symbolic religious works of that geographic origin. The former owner was said to have collected these on one of her trips to India. Obviously antique thangka's can be centuries old, but these work...

Bowl or dish in Sommerso technique, clear glass and grass green, designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glass works, Sweden. VL was appointed chief designer at Kosta in 1950, and the bowl was produced in the mid 50’s. Incised mark Kosta LH 1308/75 (model number), where L is for Lindstrand and H means artisanal, made by hand. Height "2 / 5 and width "3 ¾ / 9.5 cm. Condition: fine.

This very well molded Japanese Kutani style sleeping cat is a mid 20th century product. This sleepy cat has a white coat with gold streaks and wears an orange bow on its neck. It is 10 ½” long, 6 ¼” wide and 4” high. It is in great condition.
