A rare 18th/19th Century carved agate snuff bottle with, possibly later, silver and rose quartz stopper. On the stopper is inscribed the Shanghai silversmiths "Wen Yuan" who are recorded as having traded from the Jiaqing (1796-1820) reign through until the Republic period (1912- 1949). This impressive 2 3/4" sterling silver cuff studded with 30 amethyst cabs was hallmarked c. 1940 by Manuel Altamirano, senior silversmith in Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda. An exceptional sterling silver hand wrought cigar lighter from Shreve & Co. San Francisco. Heavy globe in organic silver base. Measures about 4 1/2" tall, 2 7/8" across and weighs about 415 grams. Large amber pin set in silver dating from the art nouveau period, amber is a golden warm shade of orange, excellent condition, a real statement piece.

Structuralist bracelet & earring set by noted modernist Paul Lobel, who produced innovative jewlery in his New York studio in the 1950s. Consisting of ridgid sterling silver links and matching earrings with their original srew-back mechanisms. The bracelet has an integrated hidden hook clasp. Bracelet measures over 7.25" long and the earrings hang 1 3/8." Signed "Lobel, Sterling" as shown. Excellent vintage condition.

This bangle, no. 314, is striking. Designed by Annette Kraen for Georg Jensen, it is open at one part of the curved silver band and has five disks worked into the design. Such a dramatic bangle is rarely seen. I've not seen any since I bought it in 1986. Seven years earlier, in 1979, the bangle was first launched. It is no longer in production.

This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". This is quite an unusual piece, has good heft and is in excellent condition.

A great, 950 sterling silver cuff bracelet by Haroldo Burle Marx with a large bezel set 'Forma Livre' opaque black carved stone.

Marked 950 and BURLE MARX on the inside. Measures 6 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 1" at the widest. Weighs 104 gr.

Fine condition. There are some minor surface scratches to the finish. There is a slight separation at the underside of the bezel but the stone is stable.
