Large early Republic Chinese cloisonne lidded box on stand that could have graced a scholar’s desk. On each side is a 5 toed Imperial yellow dragon with the dragon on the lid chasing the flaming pearl of wisdom; all against a dark sky blue ground, the contrasting yellow stand really makes this piece stand out. The metal and wires are bronze gilt over copper. In excellent condition it measures 13.5" wide x 7" deep x 8.75" high

Chinese Scholar’s two-tier solid rosewood stand with carved boxwood edges. Produced in the 1950s, this is actually a copy of a 17th - early 18th century style that was made of zitan and edged in boxwood. A strong stand that will hold your heaviest object, the pieces were machine made with rough carvings, hand assembled (pegged and glued), and then hand finished and polished. In excellent condition, the stand measures 12” long x 7.25" wide x 4” high.

A 6 inch diameter signed Galle bowl on which the rim is rolled inward to give the bowl 3 lobes.. The dark red overlay of fuschia blossoms and leaves is laid on a nearly colorless ground with a satin finish. The bowl is 3 inches deep and has a ground pontil.

A fine Japanese incense burner, made of wood with pierced gilt copper lid, the interior with copper lining. On a black lacquer ground slightly raised decoration showing a landscape with rockwork and trees in different gold lacquer techniques. This fabulous vintage Mexican Bracelet has a stunning design similar to the work of Antonio Pineda - it's signed with the initials AP but they differ from the more common Pineda hallmark and we're not sure who the artist is. It's a massive piece measuring 7" long, 1" wide and is quite heavy at 115.5 grams. Early style pin closure. No damage noted, just some light wear and tarnish and the Amethyst stones have the typical inclusions. A fantastic bracelet that any collector will love.

Oversized Japanese woodblock print by Shufu Miyamoto (b. 1950) titled "Water Weeds at Hiroshima." The lower margin is pencil-titled in kanji and English, pencil-signed, and dated '84. It is numbered in pencil 5/150 at the lower left below the artist's red seal. Paper: 17 5/8" x 22 3/4" (image: 15 1/4" x 21 5/8"). Very good overall condition. There are some minor wrinkles in the paper at the margin edges and there is a small mark in the margin at the upper left corner.

Sculpture of a long-nosed tanuki, walking with a hat on its back and a flask in its left paw. The piece is built around a large piece of root wood that comprises the torso, legs, the enlarged scrotum and tail. The head is a separate piece of root wood, the ears inserted.
