A rare renaissance oval relief plaque with Skt. Peter, Escarvated in Birkenhard, Germany, ca. 15th.-16th. century or even earlier

A very interesting oval plaque in cast iron, medieval or early renaissance period. The motif is quite beautiful showing Sct. Peter ct. Petri with the key in his left hand and the almost unreadable inscription ''sct. Petri'' over his head. The backside bears evidence of the long history in Danish-German Collections, so it was found in the late 18th.-early 17...

A fine antique apothecary mortar in beautiful early brass/bronze alloy, Northern Europe, dated in the bottom to 1734!.

A very large and usual early type brass mortar with a corrosponding pestle, very decorative and a nice antique for both display and kitchen use. Note the pecular wide upper part, which we haven't seen before and must have been made in a few early years only during the 18th. century.

A pair of interesting candlesticks, 16th.-18th. century.

One is a very interesting, likely Flemish candlestick, in a white bronze or brass alloy, 16th.-17th. century, the other a North-European candlestick of the bell-type.

Size: 254 cm and 21 cm. respectively.

Condition: The bell stick likely a composite of two old parts, the other with soldered repair.

An Early Silver Beaker, North European, Baroque period, dated 1701.

A beautiful engraved and large beaker with an extrafine decoration, consisting of vertical lines, framed with double concenthric lines on the body; with two beautifully engraved Floral medallions and another central medallion, engraved with P.F.S.S / Z.F.D.S and below the inscription with 1704. Stamped with three symethrically placed stamps in the bottom.

Very large and Early Silver Beaker, North European, Baroque period, dated 1701.

Perhaps misleading to call this large Baroque Silver vessel, a beaker, it could be used as a vase. A beautiful engraved vessel with dotted decoration on the body and with a central medallion engraved with CFS:BRD and below the dating 1701. A double concenthric line to the rim which is engraved with the letters P:L:A:M:B.

A rare and absolutely stunning Silver beaker, Northern Europe, possible made as a birth gift, dated 1706.

The beaker very attractive and with a partucularly fine dotted decoration of the body, initialized with the letters PRS:OBL and the dating 1706 below, all in a round medallion. There's two other medallions with floral engravings in symethric intervals on the body.

An late renaissance or baroque period Iron Padlock, European, ca. 16th.-17th. century.

Cast and wrought lock. Very beautiful with an arched moveable part and a keyhole at one end. The lock was cobber braized or plated in the renaissance manor and much cobber can still be spotted in parts of the surface (see pictures).

A rare and massive European Gate key, Late Medieval, ca. 14th.-15th. century.

A very heavy key with kidney-shaped bow and a very thick stem and bit. Remnants of copper plating on the surface.

Size: 21,3 cm. long and 8,3 cm. wide over the bow! Weight: ca. 300-350 grams.

Condition: Basically intact with very heavy patina and corrosion and loss of metal to the bit.

A rare and wonderful bronze mortar, Baroque period of Northern Europe, 18th. century.


The mortar is inscribed with owners initials O: H: S:, M: L: and the clear date 1769, the mortar is likely somewhat older, early 18th. century and made in a bronze allow, not brass that became popular later in the 18th. century.

The mortar comes with the original Pestle and was part of the inventory (Exebition) of a Swedish Farmacy.
