An unusual hand wrought brooch in the shape of a surrealist eye in thick hammered sterling silver with a brown gemstone bead for the iris. Has 2 layers of sterling, one more hammered then the other for an interesting contrast. The dangling brown bead moves and reflects on the sterling background.

Signed with a partially struck To... ier, Sterling and 925. Wish we could figure out the artist. Measures 4 1/4" long and 2 7/8" at the widest. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely...

An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an abstract figural design signed with what looks like JPC, Iceland and 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1/2" high and measures about 7/8" across and 1 3/8" long. Has an interesting hammered texture. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A well crafted hand wrought bracelet with five rectangular links, each with a different floral repousee. Marked B, S & G for Black, Starr & Gorham. Also marked Sterling and Hand Wrought. Measures about 6 3/4" around and 1" wide. Hook closure fastens securely. Has a safety chain. Great Arts and Crafts design. Lovely work.

A rare heavy sterling silver brooch by William Spratling, Taxco. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Marked with the WS in a circle incised mark, Silver Mexico and 925. Has a slight dent to the center and is missing the rollover part of the clasp. A rare find for the collector.

A triangular sterling silver modernist bracelet by Jondell, Mexico. Measures about 7 1/2" around the inside and 9 1/2" around the outside. Measures 1/4" at the widest. Slips onto my average size wrist easily.

Marked Jondell, Mexico and 925. Although it is hollow, it is made from thick sterling and has a substantial feel.

In fine condition with minor scuffs.

A pair of pierced Mid Century Modern vintage sterling silver earrings with swish overlays on contrasting oxidized areas. Opposites so frame the face when worn.

The earrings measure 1/2" at the widest and 1 3/8" tall including the hooks. Unsigned.

They are in fine condition, with very minor surface scratches and some tarnish. Looks like the backs have been replaced.

Lots of movement when worn...

A vintage modernist 'Splash' bracelet in sterling silver designed by Henning Koppel in the 1940s for the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen, design #88.

Measures 7 3/4" long and 1 3/4" at the widest. Heavy and solid, weighs 97 gr. Has a toggle closure that holds securely.

This is the smaller version, #88. Unsigned but it weighs and measures the same as the style #88 version. Better for a smaller wrist due to the thickness and the curvature of the links...

A modernist pendant necklace by Bjorn Weckstrom for Lapponia in sterling silver.

Marked with the Lapponia Hallmark, 925, Finnish silver standard mark, date code, and scales mark. Also marked for Lapponia on the chain. Pendant measures 3/4" long and 1" across. Chain measures 15 1/2" long. An extender can be added if needed. Has a hook closure that holds securely. Very nice condition, surface shows some minor scratches and a little wear. A vintage Mid Century Modern pair of sterling silver cufflinks by the American silversmith, Ronald Hayes Pearson. Heavy and solid, these cufflinks measures 1 1/2" across. Toggles are marked Sterling and hold securely. Signed Pearson Sterling on the backs. In very nice condition with minor surface scratches. Very cool mid century streamlined design.

A modernist sterling silver brooch by noted NYC mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer, in a stylized 'V' shape with a central copper textured cabochon. Has a three dimensional design. Measures 2 5/8"long and 1 1/2" high. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark and sterling. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. There is a slight bend at one corner, not sure if it is original. Great MCM design.

A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Interesting abstract molten design.

Measures about a size 8 but is adjustble. Top measures 5/8" wide and 1" long.

Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, National Mark, 925 for sterling, town mark for Turku and Y7 for 1976.

Very nice condition with some minor tarnish.

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch by Hans Hansen, Denmark, most likely from the 1960s. We have not been able to find another example. Four layers of concentric ovals, slightly curling up at each end. Has some light oxidation between the layers for an interesting contrast.

Measures about 2 1/4" long and 5/8" wide.

Marked with the conjoined HH, 126 for the design number, Denmark and 925S.

Has a rollover safety clasp which holds securely. In fine condition...

Two pair of vintage sterling silver screw back earrings by Margot de Taxco, ( Margot Van Voorhies Carr), number 5740, in a modernist dangle design and number 5410 with swirls and beads. May purchase both pairs or each pair individually.

The dangle earrings measure 1 7/8" high and 3/4" across. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling, Margot de Taxco and 5740. Also marked with Eagle #16. Screw backs hold securely. Very nice condition with only minor tarnish...

A wonderfully constructed heavy neck ring by Bent Knudsen, Denmark. Streamlined curves, thick sterling, very Mid Century.

Marked Sterling, Denmark, Bent K, 925S, Style #3 and copyright sign. Measures 13" around plus an opening of 2 3/4". Can be adjusted slightly. Meant to sit on the collar bone. Would be best on a slender neck.

A vintage heavy sterling brooch depicting a gnarled branch by the noted Maine Silversmith, Condon Kuhl. There is also a sterling pendant in the shape of a Ginko leaf by the same artist. The pendant can be hooked onto the branch and worn together.

Signed with the conjoined HA, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

Measures 3 1/2" across and 3 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish and surface scratches.
