This extremely rare Olmec deformed fetus is described in the book “The Olmec World Ritual and Rulership”. A very similar one is pictured on page 55. Carolyn E. Tate from Texas Tech University, who wrote this chapter, stated only 18 such figurines were known to her. It is 1 1/2" long and made from the highest quality Olmec blue translucent jadeite. This is fireman's sashiko hanten coat in Edo period. It is a motif of a big spider and the petal of cherry blossoms and the person of the kabuki. It is very impressive and it is bold.The petal of cherry blossoms that adhere to the cobweb is very fantastic. There is a little part that was able to be rubbed. However, the state is very good. This Olmec "spoon" is 1 1/4" X 3/4" and is made from translucent fuchsite. It is generally accepted that these served as trays from which shamans inhaled hallucinogenic snuff. This piece is from the famous Keith Finello collection and dates to C900-600BC.

There is a little getting untied part.There is a thin stain. Very exact sashiko is made from the hand. It is wonderful and beautiful. The state is very good. Please add to your collection. This finely carved shell skull was found by the famous Dr. Allen Heflin on 9-16-61 in Cuautitlan, Mexico. This Aztec piece dates to 1200AD. It is drilled for suspension. A nice little ancient piece that could be used in jewelry. It is 1/2" long and solid.

This Classic Mayan mother-of-pearl figurine is 1 1/8" wide. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin. Although I could not capture it in photos, it is nicely opalescent. It would make a very unusual jewelry finding. It is C300-900AD.

Heavily carved mahogany settee and chair with full winged griffons on arms, paw feet, and carved, reticulated tops. Probably by either Horner or Karpin. Settee measures 48" tall x 63" wide x 36" deep and chair measures 40" tall x 32" wide x 34" deep. One of the most beautifully carved pieces we've ever had the pleasure to offer for sale.

Fabulous, huge, Rosewood American Victorian Renaissance Revival etagere. Embellished with marquetry musical instruments and flowers, this beautiful piece is in all original condition, has been in the same family since it was bought in the 1870s. It measures 10'2" tall x 7'3" wide x 24" deep.

This rare Archaic E-Notch point, made from translucent gray glossy flintridge, is in perfect condition. It has heavy grinding on the base and in the bottom portion of the notches. This is a classic example of the type and is beautifully beveled. It was found near Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio. Comes with a Gregory Perino certificate of authenticity and shows very nice mineralization and patination.

Beautiful Loetz vase with gold and pale blue oil spots, sits in footed pewter base with art nouveau flowers going around it. Measures 7" tall x 5" wide and is in perfect condition.

Extremely rare piece of Heisey that was in a drug store in the midwest in the late 1800s. It has stayed in the same family all these years. It measures 29" tall and in very good condition for its age. It does have a small chip on the rim of the bottom plate, and there are stains on the top plate that need to be taken out, although its not something I do. Other than that and a few extremely minor rough edges, its in great shape...

Fabulous leaded glass shade by John Morgan and Sons of New York. This beautiful piece of craftsmanship has a mottled green background with pink, orange, red and yellow flowers. When lit, the colors are absolutely phenomenal. The shade, which measures 23" in diameter, proudly sits upon a beautiful Handel base. The whole lamp measures 24" tall and would stand out in any room. It is in excellent condition.

Rare Antique Korean Spirit Shrine Painting (Kam Mo Yo Je Do). Spirit House Paintings are in the collections of several major museums. This painting would have been placed in a place of reverence in the home, and on the anniversary of an ancestor's death, a slip of paper with the ancestor's name would be placed on the blank space in the open doorway of the shrine in the painting and a ritual would have been performed in front of the painting...
