A large kitchen storage jar that was made in North Korea. The Jar is an example of Korean folk art, and it has hand painted blue and green designs on a white base. There is brown staining to the exterior and interior surfaces, where the contents (probably soy sauce) bleed into the stoneware. There are two side handles for carrying. The jar measures about 16" high x 12" in diameter, and dates to the late Chosen Dynasty...

Ancient egyptian Shabti of Pa-scheri-en-Ptah, born by Nes-Mut 12,6 cm.

Inscription of the hiroglyphs with glass paste.

Third Intermediate Period, 21th/22th Dynasty.

Material faience.

The shabti is made from faience and has a mummie shaped body with visible hands, the left hand holding a hoe, the right hand a plow and a bag over his shoulder. The figure stands on a base plate and leaning against a back pillar...

This ushabti figurine is depicted as a worker holding two hoes for work in the fields of Osiris in the afterlife.

He is wearing a tripartite wig which falls down between the shoulders...

15K Victorian chain with a link design consisting of two "paperclips" joined together at a perfect 90 degree angle, leading to a lovely unusual lovers knot link where the lover's knot is wrapped in a braided pattern several times about a simple oval link (see close ups). Both the paper clip and the lover's knot links are Victorian motifs used to convey love and devotion. The chain is substantial at 36.3 grams. and at 51 inches can be worn doubled or tripled...

An antique Japanese bamboo Ikebana basket in a ballister shape with a cross-hatch weaving of bi-color bamboo closed woven into a design reminiscent of a classic Japanese garden bamboo fence. The body features 1/2 split bamboo with its nodules accentuating its natural form. It has a low foot with a 2 slat bottom. The handle and mouth are Wisteria attached and reinforced with the same bi-color bamboo strips. Natural soot patina. It contains a bamboo vessel for water and flowers...

An antique Japanese bamboo Ikebana basket in a rounded barrel shape with small mouth. Large bamboo splat work measuring 3 1/4" wide forming the body with rhythmic braided bamboo reinforcing the splats while adding a visual tempo. It has a flat foot and a triangular bottom. The handle is a twisted bamboo rope connected by two legs on each side. The basket is firm and solid in terms of its construction due to its strong woven braided technique incorporated in its creation...

Diameter approximately 21 cm. There is a difference in color on the back of the bowl. In good condition.
