Cylindrical container made of brass with a domed cover and decorated base both close fitting. With engraved decoration in horizontal bands, the widest with eight medallions each containing a figure at leisure. Its function is not obvious, maybe an ink pot (davat) or a container for tobacco or spices. From an old Swiss collection. Condition: good, few tiny dents. This incredible Olmec standing figure is 5 1/4 inches high (13.5cm) and 2 inches wide (5cm). It is made from beautiful opaque Olmec blue jade. The right arm was broken off in ancient times. The figure is represented in the back as transforming into a bird, with the back of the head, ears, and upper strap muscles of the figure's back forming the image of the head, eyes, and beak. Antique Chinese wood brush washer in a hexagonal shape. Each face is beautifully inlaid with a floral arrangement: a pine branch, a flowering apricot or peach branch, a magnolia branch, a pair of narcissus flowers, a vase with lotus and a second vase with magnolia. It measures 7" tall, 6" wide at base. 20th century.

Beautifully carved soap stone figure of sage Fulushuo, he leans on an elaborately carved staff and hold the peach of longevity, on an intricately carved dark stone stand on which are carved a bat and a deer, also symbols of happiness and longevity, wonderful expression, stone of a lovely orange and green, Republic Period (circa 1910-1930). A small Peking glass vase done on a white base with polychrome color enamel decorated on the surface. The vase is invoking fencai porcelains and the motifs and patterns used on the vase are often seen in porcelains. The vase contains two views of literati scholar like figures, one contemplating and another reading a book. Age: Qian Long mark but most likely 19th century. Size: Diameter 3.75" Height 7.5"

Chinese porcelain jar decorated with under glaze cobalt and over glaze famille verte enamel, depicting four ladies and thirteen boys playing in a court garden. Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century. Condition: one patched chip on outside of top rim; one "star crack" inside foot rim, only stained section is through the body and to be seen(about 1" long) inside the jar; one glaze crack (see photo #6),on glaze only, does not affect the body. Antique Tibetan Prajnaparamita made of patinated bronze. It has an elaborate crown framing the face with angular facial features. The figure is seated in royal ease pondering a shell in its right hand. The left hand holds a lotus sprig with traces of orange pigment. The figure has traces of prance, red, and yellow pigments. The robes are incised with a floral design. 20th century. It measures 12.25" tall.

Antique Chinese jade miniature duck holding a lingzhi sprig in its beak as it turns to look down it's tail. The bird is beautifully carved with details of the feathers and head done with great naturalism, 19th century. It measures 2" long 1" wide 1.5" tall.

This is Indigo dye Stripe cotton syonai-sashiko noragi Long vest textile of the Meiji era(1868-1912). The sashiko hand stitch is beautiful by very small width.The lining has a little discoloration. However, it is very good condition. It can enjoy both sides. size:83cm (32.6" )

Antique Japanese hirado ware white vase with base. The vase is a beautiful white color. The simple shape is accented with dragon shaped handles on either side. The work is done by the kiln of Kanzan Denshichi (1821-1890). Kanzan was trained in Koto ware in Shiga by the order of Ii Naosuke. Later in 1871 Kanzan establishes an imperial kiln producing table ware for the Imperial Household. Signatures on the bottom reads: Dai Nippon Kanzan Sei, (trans: Produced by Kanzan of Dai Nipppon)...
