A Very Fine Korean Buncheong White Slip Inlaid Bowl-15th C, :
Korea, Joseon dynasty, 15th century.
The deep bowl on short raised ring foot with everted rim, decorated in inlaid
white slip with a central medallion of floral heads and dots surrounded by a narrow
band of stylized double rings and wide band of “rope curtain” design, the
exterior decorated en suite beneath a pale celadon glaze.
It’ in good condition but some chips to foot-rim, it measures 19 cm d. x 8 cm h.

Oni mask in dark brown patina lacquered wood with finely sculpted details.
The expression of the mask, although funny, is imbued with a slight fear, creating a balance between the comical and the disturbing. The painted glass eyes add a magnetic depth.
