A pair of finely cast Chinese bronze gu-shaped vases,17th/18th century, with gilt bronze mounted bases and liners, the mounts probably French, 18th/19th century. 16.5cms high.

Perfect potted porcelain body with a polychrome enamel decoration. A so called Egg & Spinach glaze. The best of its kind ! Briliant colors with a fine crazing. It is also to see the so called " Rainbow effect " which is typical for old and genuine enamels. This Egg & Spinach called Susancai glaze first appeared during the Kangxi period, so this piece could be a Kangxi piece, but it also could be later. H : 7,4 cm. Diameter : 10 cm. Condition : Perfect

This 18th century Japanese unsigned boxwood netsuke of FUKUROKUJU (in phallic shape) is 2 ¼ inches tall, 1 ½ inches wide and 1 ¼ inches in depth. It is in excellent condition.

A Qing 18th century Chinese bronze censer, globular body with two handle, base with Xuande mark, censer in good condition with crack on one of the ear at body please see picture for detail, size: 16 cm diameter from ear to ear, 11 cm diameter at the mouth, 6.5 cm height, weight about 850 gram.

This generously proportioned chawan (13.5cm in diameter) shows nice age, especially around the kodai, and likely dates from early Edo (several hundred years old). The base is unglazed showing the molded clay, contrasting nicely with the jet black glaze which displays a slight purplish hue when held to the light. The soft sheen of the Raku glaze overlying rippled and shaved clay gives this bowl a distinct presence...

An Arita blue & white porcelain dish decorated with a pavilion and poetry, an equestrian and servant in the foreground. The dish is moulded with a shallow ‘rinka’ edge. The back is plain and has three spur marks within the foot-rim.

An identical dish is illustrated in the Shibata Collection Vol.4, #303 where it is dated to 1770~1800.

Approximately 18 cm diameter. The dish has some light wear from normal use, plate stacking for example, but is otherwise in fine condition...

A Namasu or small serving bowl in revived Kakiemon style decorated with a depiction of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove in low moulded relief; here represented by just two of them. The Sages were synominous with a hedonistic lifestyle of drinking and poetry. The foliate rim of the dish with a fuchi beni, brown glaze. The central roundel in the well of the bowl decorated with a Namban or Tojin style figure of a European with a two legged long tailed dog like creature...

A five colour dish decorated with an auspicious pattern showing a dragon chasing a flaming pearl and a hoo bird chasing a thunderbolt. Integrated within the design are the Three Friends of Winter, shochikubai, and a pair of iron red ogee form lotus medallions each containing a precious pearl tama, surrounded by pear blossom, nashihana, symbols of longevity and prosperity. A central motif of a pair of Pomegranates, zakuro, symbols of fertility...

A fine kikugata mukuzuke moulded dish in the form of an asymmetric Chrysanthemum bloom with central motif of a single Chrysanthemum leaf richly enamelled in green and blue enamels with gilding. The rim decorated with a dark brown iron temmoku style glaze. The dish measures 18.5cm in length, 14cm wide and stands 4cm high. The dish is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. Shipping at Cost.

18th Century Tibetan Rudra Chakrin, King of Shambhala Thangka, 43.5 x 25.5 inches, 91.5 x 66 cm. Most of these thangka were photographed through glass frames, so there may be a little blurriness. This thankga was in an exhibition at the University of Texas Art Museum.

A fine Chinese gold-splash two-handled bronze censer, delicately cast, of bombe form, early Qing, 17th/early 18th century, 12cms diam., Xuande six-character mark. Provenance: Collection of a lady, Wimbledon, South West London. Purchased from James Trigg, Antiquarius, Chelsea, London, May 1977 and sold with the original receipt.

Framed pair of Chinese Imperial Kesi 5 claws gold threads dragon fragments, Qianglong Period. These pieces are fully decorated, blue ground five claws dragon with 卐 "Wan" characters, Lingzhi shaped clouds and cross shaped floral patterns. Both Dragons are gazing to their own firing pearl. These pair are probably made for the shoulders part of a dragon robe. Dimensions: 32 x 23 cm each without frame, 92 x 46 cm with frame...
