Tang terra cotta image of a Fat Lady. Traces of original pigment with legible facial features (note noted in enlargements). This is the smallest one I have ever seen- miniatures are extremely rare. H: 6.2cm. The bottom is uneven (just appears to have been made that way) there are traces of glue where it was probably once attached to a stand, otherwise, good condition- no damage or repair.

Chinese porcelain jar. On a very beautiful underglaze lavender blue background are painted, in dark cobalt blue also underglaze and in white enamels, characters Shou (happiness) and Swastika (eternity) surrounded by fumaroles, around the base and the neck are represented respectively friezes of waves and stylized clouds. Below the mark of Emperor Qianlong in underglaze blue. This jar was a vase whose neck was certainly damaged...

Two antique steel-line engravings drawn by Thomas Allom (1804-1872) and engraved by Arthur Willmore (1814-1888) titled “Chinese Boatman Economizing Time & Labour, Poo-kou” and "The Fortress of Terror, Ting-hai" from “China in a Series of Views” published in London in 1843 and reprinted through 1859. 19th century Chinese soap stone sculpture. A reclining Lo-Han is petting a lion cub. The thin man has a curly beard, one foot bare, the other wearing a sandal; his robe is open to expose his bare chest with ribs showing. Carved black wood base. This late 18th century or early 19th century Chinese porcelain plate is 6 3/4 inches in diameter. It has turquoise background with legendary animals in garden design. There is Jia Qing (1796-1820) mark on the back. It is in great condition.

19th century nephrite carving of a bearded Zhong-Kui (ghost eater). His right hand is holding a fan; his left hand is raised up holding his hat. Under his left foot is a demon begging for his life. According to Chinese custom, the ghost eater will protect a family from evil spirits. This is a very nice carving in good condition. H: 5 inches, W: 3 inches, D: 1 ¾ inches

Small 18th century nephrite carving. A reclining horse is turning his head toward his back. He is holding a Ling-Zhi symbol in his mouth. This is a very nice old piece. H: 1 ½ inches, W: 2 inches, D: 1 inches

19th century nephrite carving. A reclined sheep holds a peach in her mouth. Her head is turned back to watch her baby. The lamb is leaning on his mother, in his mouth there is a string of Ling-Zhi. Very nice carving in good condition. H: 2 inches, W: 3 ¾ inches, D: 1 ½ inches

17th or 18th century Chinese wood Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) statue. One hand is holding a ¡°Bo¡± (alms bowl). Most of the lacquer has peeled off. Crack lines and small chips due to the age. Good condition. H: 27 ½ inches, W: 7 inches, D: 7 inches

17th or 18th century Chinese wood temple guard. His hands and face remain covered in gold leaf. It is in excellent condition. H: 21 ½ inches, W: 8 ½ inches, D: 8 inches

19th century Chinese 3 tier fitted mahogany box, heavily carved with patterns and coin motif. Brass corners on each tier. Two corners are missing. Good condition. H: 9 ½ inches, W: 13 ½ inches, D: 7 inches

Western Jin (ca.300 A.D.) style Chinese bronze incense burner. Probably a later production. A boy is riding on a legendary animal (a turtle body with dragon or Qilin head). His right arm is raised up holding a traditional incense burner (Bo Shan Lu). It is in excellent condition. H: 10 inches, W: 5 inches, D: 3 ¼ inches

Late 19th century blue and white porcelain bird feeders. Hand painted with three horses resting under a willow tree. They are an unusual hexagonal shape and in perfect condition. H: 1 ¼ inches, W: 2 ½ inches

Qing Dynasty famille verte plates. The hand-painted plates depict the story of ¡°The lady of the red whisk¡±. On the back of each plate there is a ¡°Tong Zhi¡± (1862~1874) seal mark. They are in excellent condition. Diam: 7 inches

East Jin Dynasty (317~385) spotted olive green over beige glaze lamp base with three curved legs. It is in excellent condition. H: 9 ¼ inches, W: 6 ½ inches

Hand painted porcelain serving dish, maker¡¯s mark (Chen Tai Xiang made) on the back. Dated 1922 depicting two ladies appreciating flowers in the garden. Some color, especially gold, has slightly rubbed off. It is in good condition. L: 10 ¼ inches, W: 8 inches, H: 2 ¼ inches

Chinese porcelain planter hand painted by Huang Ming Guang in 1919. This four sided planter has calligraphy on two sides; a bird in flowers and a landscape are on other two sides. Some color has rubbed off and there are small chips on the rim. It is in fairly good condition. H: 4 ¼ inches, W: 4 inches

19th century Chinese yellow cast porcelain snuff bottle with Qian Long mark. The mark is fictitious which is quite common. One side depicts a bird on a tree; another side is a landscape. The yellow stone cap and spoon are later replacements. There are no chips or crack lines but some stains due to the age. It is in good condition. H: 2 ¾ inches, W: 1 7/8 inches
